Was it You?

[Shriya Point Of View:]

"Shriya how are you doing?", Rehan texted.

"I am ok"

"What happened?", he inquired.

Rehan you guess things right sometimes and it's scary how accurate you get.

"I broke up with my ex boyfriend"

"Hey if someone doesn't want you they don't deserve you and it's useless whining over them", Rehan said.

Sometimes I find it funny how comforting you make me feel by your side.

"Yeah I know thank you", I replied.

[Rehan Point Of View:]

"I broke up with my boyfriend", Shriya said.

It felt like a silent whisper down my chest.

Was it fate or was it her misfortune I brought along.

I wished to console her above anything else.

("You shouldn't think much about it".

"Yeah I know thanks", She texted.)

Shriya I want you to leave this country with good memories.

Even if I can't have you by my side atleast I wish to be remembered by you.

"Shriya, Would you like to roam this city of ours for one last time with me?"

"I will it shall be my pleasure", She replied.

...

"Bring your own money I ain't paying for you"

"Yeah ok jerk", she replied.

My heart felt really warm and my cheeks turned red as I blushed and looked through the window and sucked all the air in.

"Yes!!!", I yelled as the crow sitting on the nest flew away cursing me on its way out.

It was finally the day.

I looked at the mirror as I straightend my hair and wore the most wannabe stud clothes one could ever wear.

Was there any need for a guy to put on a lotion the answer was, No. All it took was one perfume to finish me up.

The princess on the other hand woke up at 6 am and finished her facial at 9 am.

Her looks made even the birds stalling by get embarrassed by looking at her.

She tied her hair up and came out of the house.

There he was waiting for her inside a....

cab?

"Why did you come her in a cab?", Shriya inquired.

"I am far from having some luxury like a bike"

"So this is the place you wanted to take me huh?", Shriya inquired.

"Yup, One big and thick bowling center!"

[Shriya's POV:]

"To think you would bring me to this place how very odd you are"

"Hmm you whining cause you are bad at the sport", Rehan imitated as he held the ball in the most unsteady way a human can possibly hold.

"Hey first be capable enough to lift a bowling ball before thinking about the game"

"Oh yeah it's on then", Rehan got pumped up.

Strike!!

Strike!!

That was the last time I saw Rehan he was to be found nowhere.

"How did you do that you cheater", Rehan whined.

"Even a child could score atleast a one out of these many tries, I broke the record of the least score right here", He groaned.

"Pfft"

He made me feel happy and safe. He was my comfort zone and a companion I can never afford to lose.

Hahaha"

At that moment Rehan felt so cute that I ended up laughing down onto the floor.

I looked up as he stared into my eyes as he turned red.

His face was so close to me and for once it felt like I skipped a beat.

"Was it you for whom I skipped a beat?", Rehan thought.
