Chapter 90

"Almost," Fraser muttered.

He stood in the throne room staring at the throne which now belonged to him. It always did.

He ran his hand along the chair with the most power in the kingdom. Once the crown was placed on his head, he would be the most powerful man in all the land and prove those who laughed at him when he said he would be king wrong. He wanted to see their faces now that he was announced as king. Fraser wanted them to come and beg to be his followers. 

"I need to find a way to get grandmother to go back to her home. I don't need her over my shoulder when she is on Amelia's side more than she is on mine," said Fraser. He loved his grandmother but wasn't blind to how she favored Amelia. His grandmother might have him do things for the benefit of Amelia. "Why are you here?" Fraser asked without looking at the person who arrived.
