Looking Around The Village

Patrick stepped out noticed Tina's sad look then he came forward closer to her to ask her as he drew Tina closer placing his hand on her shoulder as he lifted her chin and asked, "What's wrong?."

"Nothing, am fine" Tina replied him with a subtly frown and Patrick asked her, "So will you like to see around the village?."

"Okay, let me get my son" Tina wanted to go bring Godsent but Patrick stopped her.

"No leave him with Amanda she will take care of him, lets go" Patrick held Tina to stood up and they both walked out to his car.

Patrick opened his car door for her and Tina got in while Patrick drove her out with her to show her around his village.

Ujunwa village wasn't new to Tina as she had came there before when Chris sister got married, even as they passed by, some people and passer by stared at Tina as she was very fair in complexion almost while with her natural blonde hair, while some greeted Patrick as they knew him for his kind renovation and youth empowerment he was doing in their village.

Tina never said a word as she sat in front of Patrick's car. Luckily Patrick didn't drove passed Chris home, as he took her around and went to saw his uncle, whom was his father's elder brother. The man had been nice and supportive ever since they had earlier returned from the city to the village.

Patrick greeted Uncle Brown and his wife as they got inside the apartment, and his uncle was well respected as his one of the top elders in their village,

"Who do we have here, Patrick Scott" Mr Brown welcome Patrick, as he asked, "Who is the beautiful young lady you brought with you Patrick?."

Patrick smiled hearing his uncle questioned and he replied, "She's my wife to be uncle."

Tina stared at Patrick in surprised and wondered what Patrick was doing, going around his village and introducing her as his wife.

Tina smiled silently as she greeted Uncle Brown, "Good afternoon sir."

"You are welcome my daughter" Tina heard Uncle Brown wife replied, next welcoming her as she came closer to check Tina out.

Obviously the dress Cindy had given to Tina clung to Tina's body and brought out all her shape as Tina looked more like a temptress in that lovely yellow dress.

Patrick cousins were around although the man seemed like one whom was married with children, but yet he was lustfully staring at Tina, as she greeted him while he smiled sweetly at her, Tina heard him say, "Bro Patrick, you really have eyes for good thing, Where did you meet this beautiful angel from?."

Patrick just smiled at his big cousin not replying him, as he was Patrick's elder brother age mate.

Patrick's elder brother was not yet married as he was still in the military force even as their father had called him home and sent lot of messages for him to come back home and get married but he refused and said he would come home and hasn't yet returned.

Patrick placed his hands on Tina's shoulder as he drew her gently to his side, and he introduced her to some of his uncle daughters whom were around too smiling at Tina.

After they stayed some few more hours at Patrick's uncle place. Patrick bid them goodbye as he stood up to took his leave home with Tina, his uncle prayed for him and told him, his father and him had already made all the necessary arrangements to go see Tina people as demand by their custom, so Uncle Brown prayed for Tina and Patrick as he wished them good luck ahead in their marriage.

Tina was calmed all thru but when she got to where Patrick had park his car in his uncle's garage and got inside, her countenance changed and Patrick noticed it and asked her, "What's the problem babe?."

Patrick asked as soon as he got inside and he noticed Tina's facial mood frowning angrily.

"Why're you introducing me to everyone, as your wife?" Tina finally asked him.as she stared to Patrick.

Patrick smiled and stared at Tina, then he laughed out and said, "Is that why you're looking like this?, Ain't you my wife before, what should I have, introduce you to them as?."

Tina shrugged her shoulder hearing him but she threw her face away, as she still didn't wanted to be his wife, not yet, even though their custom demanded that Patrick must pay her dowry whether she loves him or not, nor accepted him or not so long she had bear him a child, but Tina still thought that didn't gave Patrick the right to proudly called her his wife.

"You shouldn't be looking these sad or unhappy, you're my wife, or ain't you?", Patrick asked her looking intently at Tina's face.

Tina didn't replied him or turned to look at him so Patrick started the engine and drove off with Tina.

They got back to Patrick's mansion in his village, and Tina came down first and went inside, As she saw her son sleeping as he was on Amanda's back, she didn't went to collect him as she just went there and sat down closer to Amanda and she stared around.

Patrick had parked his car and returned back to his chamber as he had some urgent works to do as he had stayed long in the village, he contacted his special assistant to know if he had carried out the previous works he asked him to do properly.

Patrick's assistant was loyal so he did all his boss asked of him and more and Patrick went back drawing some of the new designs he wanted.

Patrick was a little busy, so he didn't bother Tina again for the day.

Tina called her mother to confirmed if what Patrick said to her was true, "Hello Mama, did you call Patrick this morning?."

Mama-Tina was at her shade as usual and she spoked, "Yes my daughter I did, how are his people I hope they all like you?."

"Yes Mama, they do but that's not in my interest" Tina said.

"What's in your interest my daughter, you should learn to love that young man and accept him as your husband. I think he will be of a better husband to you than Chris, you know you already have a child for him, so I don't think Chris will truly love and accept that, just be good okay, when you come back home, we can discuss" Mama-Tina told her daughter gently on phone .

"But mama, I want to come back home today?" Tina said.

"Why.. isn't Patrick or his people treating you well?" Mama-Tina asked, sounding worried on phone.

"Mama they're all treating me well, but I just want to come home and resume my work" Tina said

"You are not serious Tina, stay there and don't come back yet, how much is your work, compared to your husband, what can you even sew?" Mama-Tina questioned.

"Mama!" Tina exclaimed on phone and Just then Patrick already came out and heard Tina screamed, "Mama!." But he didn't knew what Tina and her mother was discussing about but he was certain, Mama-Tina was on his side.

Patrick came out to where Tina sat in their garden, making the call and he sat down closer to her, but Tina got startled and stared at him as she didn't knew for how long, he had stood there, or was listening to her conversation, she frowned.

"What're you discussing with your mom about?" Patrick asked her as he wanted to tool Tina's hand and put on his thighs but Tina pulled her hands away and replied, "None of your business."

"Really, what's wrong with you babe, this minute you are calm next minute you are acting all up?" Patrick ask Tina teasingly and Tina turned back to him and stared at his face.

Tina didn't knew what to said to Patrick nor replied to him, so she looked away, but Patrick bent forward to her side and touched her cheeks.

Tina stared at him annoyed and replied, "Stop touching me okay, I don't know why you will tell my mom, I want to stay here, I want to go back home, I have works to do?."

"I know, but at least we can get to resolve things between us first, I heard you were very brilliant when you were still in school so I don't know, if you will still like to further or do you like the Tailoring you are doing now?" Patrick asked her calmly and Tina just stared at him as her anger was very visible this time like she could attacked him, The sun had already gone down, but Tina was visibly red as a ripe tomatoes as she was very fair in complexion.

Patrick chuckled out, "Why are you showing red, do you want to attack me?" Patrick teased her amused by her coloured outburst.

"Just leave me alone, what I like to do shouldn't be your business" Tina pushed his hands away and stood up and left him going back inside the main house and Patrick frowned.
