Chapter 13

Joshua POV

My woman and I are enjoying our date together at the beach. We couldn't swim because it was too windy, and the waves were too strong. It sucked that we couldn't swim together, at least we brought food. My pack members are also at the beach, having fun. We were just eating our when one of the members, James, was rushing toward the ocean with a surfboard. He was just ignoring the lifeguards, and started to surf. This idiot likes to cause trouble, and he is hardheaded. Within five minutes, he was already drowning. The idiot didn't even have a leash for his surfboard.

The lifeguards were taking their sweet time to save him. I see Rue with a swimming ring and rope tied to it. She handed the strongest warrior of my pack the end of the rope. Before I can do anything, Rue rushes out to the ocean with the ring in tow. I was about to go in after this crazy woman when she emerged with James in tow. The warrior pulled them back onto shore. I grabbed James and backhanded him. I am not going to scold Rue in front of people. Not only that, but I am angry at myself for not doing anything about my mate rushing to save someone while I had my thumb up my ass. Likewise, I told James that if he ever breaks the rules again, I will personally banish him and throw all his shit out. Someone could have gotten hurt by trying to save him. Hell, my mate could have gotten hurt trying to save this dumb fuck.

30 Minutes Later

Rue and I got into our first argument at home about what happened. "I don't like the fact that you put yourself in danger like that. Especially for a jackass like that," I yelled. "At least I did something, unlike someone I know," she snapped. We bickered like a married couple with both of our fingers in the air, pointing at each other. Our argument led to rough, angry sex. It was amazing sex that lasted for five hours. We had sex everywhere in my home, which is kind of erotic. While we were in an embrace, we patched things up. We need to work on communicating with each other. Having sex while we are upset is the worst thing we can do. "Baby, I want to be able to communicate better. I don't want to have angry, rough sex every time we fight. I want to talk about our problems calmly. Not only that, but I don't want you to run head first into danger, it is my job to protect you. I would never forgive myself if anything were to happen to you," I said. Rue snuggled against me, kissing me on my chest. "My dad and JJ keep telling me that I have that issue. It is a cause of habit that I have to control. I am sorry for being mean," she said.

Killers POV

Demon: Wow, Bumppo, he lasted longer than you ever had. Five hours against your measly two minutes. You better step your game up because you are too damn big to have a little dick. How can you fuck anyone with that Vienna sausage is beyond me? There are twelve-year-old boys with more meat between their legs than you.

Rue's rocking body is driving me crazy, I can see why you are attracted to her. Looks like she is very good at pleasing him. The fact that she can suck him so well is a bonus. It is pathetic that you secretly took nude pictures of her when she was a teenager, and you still jack off to those pictures is creepy. If people discovered those pictures, you would be labeled as a pedophile, motherfucker. If your precious Rue finds out about the pictures, she will hate you forever.

Bumppo: Shut up! Shut the fuck up! Shut up! She will love me, she will. I will make her love me, Rue is the only one for me. Just shut your fucking mouth! She never judged me based on my past. We will get her to leave that jerk and marry me. We will have a lot of kids, and she will be a housewife. I will make her quit her job, and we will be a happy family. You will see, you will all see.

Saint: Bumppo, your logic is so flawed that it is laughable. Rue will never, ever love you. Not every woman is meant to be a housewife. Also, Rue loves what she does, and she worked her ass off for it. Do you have any idea how hard it is to work in a male-dominated industry as a woman? Do you know how hard it is to be a housewife? Do you have any idea how hard it is for a female mechanic with her own business at the young age of 22? Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep a house clean and wash laundry every day? Do you really think that she will ever love you, even with the photos? She never loved you, and never will. All she will do is resent you like the knuckle-dragging, shaved ape you are becoming. Are you really that delusional, or are you really that naive? You can't force her to love you, she will be disgusted and hate you. Rue will hate the real you, and the rose-colored glass illusion of you will shatter. She already suspects that something is off about you. Rue has always been a smart, empathetic, and observant girl; she is probably creeped out by you. That is probably why she hasn't called or texted you, you are giving a creepy vibe. It helps that you are good-looking, most girls will let the creepy vibe slide. You, my friend, are a more unhinged Ted Bundy. Charming, smooth, and good-looking on the outside, but a fiend with a black heart wrapped in vines covered in thorns. You are deliciously evil, wicked, weak, and a truly horrible person.
