Skippy Drippy

For the past few months, I had noticed something about Axel. He always came home on a specific date every month, and while we have been in constant communication through the last two months, I still didn't know what he studied or which school he went to.

I always sent him a photo of whatever I drew on my skin.

This time, it was a rose caged in thorns.

He responded to the text message right away.

You are no rose_ Axel.

What do you mean? _ Me

If I were to describe you, it wouldn't be a flower, Cookie _Axel.

So you are saying I am not delicate as a flower _ Me

No, you got a hard shell, and it ok to not be a flower because nothing can cage you _Axel

You would tear down any wall _Axel

If I was no flower, then what would best describe me. On a hot Saturday

I was in my reading chair. I looked at the drawing before covering it up with my long sleeve, which I raised for the picture.

I lifted my chair with my body, thinking of his word. I heard a tap on my window. I lost concentration and fell flat on my back.

"Oww"

Someone chuckled from the window.

I adjusted myself and raised the chair as I stood up. Axel still had a smile on his face.

"If you are going to laugh, then maybe you should stay outside."

I crossed my arms, a notification popped on my phone, and I picked it up to

Please _Axel

No_ Me

I smirked.

Ok _ Axel

I thought I had won the battle until he sent another text

I am going to shout_ Axel.

I hate you _Me

I opened the window, and he leaned in and whispered to my ear. I shivered from the close proximity.

"You wish you did."

Before entering the room, Axel looked around, taking a pen or a sketch to assess them.

"I believe you must have enough spare time in your college for you to be here."

"What can I say? I am an A student."

I snuffed at his bullshit.

"College is just three hours from here."

He said it like it wasn't a big deal.

He dropped the sketch he was holding and moved towards me. He takes my wrist, slowly dragging my sleeve down.

"The pictures don't do your art justice" we both looked at the art on my wrist.

His fingers caressed my wrist, and I got goosebumps from his touch.

"Does my touch affect you?" Axel humored me. Our eyes met, and he drew closer to me.

His other hand stroked my right ear, and I let out a moan.

Axel bent down his head.

"AJ!" I put my hand on his chest to stop him,

"AJ," the voice got louder.

I grabbed Axel by his shirt and pushed him into my cupboard.

"Stay here," I pleaded.

"Why" he smirked.

"It's your sister!"

"So," I sighed deeply.

"Just please"

He smirked again.

"On one condition."

Cleo's steps got closer to my room.

"Ok"

"You didn't ___."

I interrupted him with the cupboard door shot on his face.

Cleo took my hand and dragged me out of my room.

"I have been calling you since. You need to see what happened on Love Island."

I came down stair with Cleo. My mom was on the couch with her packet of potato chips in her hand.

She waved her hand to us to take a seat with her.

"Kelly kissed Landon!"

Cleo gasped; she left my hand and snatched the potato chips from my mother.

"I knew she was interested in him from the beginning! And yet she was telling Keisha she was not interested in him," Cleo replied.

I sat beside them. This was something Cleo and my mother had in common, amongst other things.

So I spent my afternoon watching a reality show with my two favorite women.

After Dinner, Cleo had gone home, and I got a text from Axel.

Come to the lake_ Axel

Why_ Me

Remember our condition_ Axel.

I smashed my head. I had just returned home from walking Cleo to my front porch but

I turned around and arrived at the lake.

Axel smiled when he saw me coming.

"Cookie!" he called out with his hands in the air

I giggled at his childish expression.

"Axel?"

He bit his lips.

"Let go, Skippy drippy."

I shook my head.

"Come on"

He took off his shirt, and I gawked at the chiseled abs. he chuckled

"if I knew that was the only thing I had to do to get this reaction out of you, Cookie, I would have done this since."

He took off his trousers, and he was only in his boxers.

Axel gazed at me; his amber eyes dared me. He teased me with his hands stroking the band of his boxers. I turned my body away.

I turned my back when I heard the splash of water.

And he shivered in the water, still laughing.

"Come on, Cookie, don't be shy. I won't look."

He teased me with his smirk.

I looked at him before I took off my shirt, and he turned his back.

But Axel lied when he said he would not look because he turned when I was about to jump into the water.

"You lied!!"

The water was cold as ice.

"How would I have caught you" he chuckled. I felt his hands on my slender waist. The night was quiet, but my heart was racing with him here.
