Smiling is contagious!

Nie Shufen's expression immediately changed. "Uh...No, it is nothing. By the way, if you are that free, how about I give you some work. Actually, I have some things pending....."

Before he could complete, Bei Suzy hurriedly replied, "I am sorry for teasing you, Mr. Nie. If there's nothing else, I will leave."

She ran away as quickly as she could, as if she was a rabbit running to save itself from a tiger. Nie Shufen laughed at her reaction. "So, my assistant is smart." He spoke loud enough for her to hear.

Bai Shihan had walked back to Shen Tai and driver Chen.

"Young Miss, how about, I take you back to the hotel. It's already late evening and you have to report to the company tomorrow." driver Chen asked Bai Shihan.

She was looking at Nie Shufen as he laughed at Bei Suzy. Unconsciously, a smile appeared on her face. As, she was smiling, Shen Tai noticed her and said, "Holy God, what has got into you? You are smiling without any reason. But let me tell you, you look pretty when you smile. Come on, girl, if you keep smiling like this, you are going to make young men fight for you." He chuckled as he saw her coming out of her daze and controlling the blush, which had appeared on her face, by his words.

"Hey, when will you stop teasing me like this?"

"Probably, not until you get married."

Bai Shihan could not control her face going into a deeper red.

"Driver Chen, I think we should leave now." She managed to tell driver Chen as she hid her blushing face.

As, she walked towards the exit, on the other side of the bridge, she turned back to look at Nie Shufen, one last time. To her surprise, he was also looking at her. He instantly flashed a charming smile and waved his hand towards her. She soon felt her lips too, curling upwards, into a bright smile as she too waved her hand. It was they were talking to each other but the words were unspoken or unheard by the others.

As she was waving at him, she was interrupted by a stranger's voice.

"Miss...Miss"

She turned to look at the source of voice. She saw a man standing with a wishing ribbons.

"Miss... please choose a ribbon and tie it on the bridge gate. It is believed that people who tie wishing ribbons will be granted true love."

Bai Shihan turned to look at the gate and was a little surprised that there were only a few ribbons tied to the bridge. She initially thought that there would be many as all the people who visit the bridge would tie it. The person read her curiosity and said,

"Miss you must be thinking why there are too less ribbons hanging there. It is believed that once your wish is fulfilled the ribbon would untie and fall off on its own."

Bai Shihan thought for a second and picked a turquoise coloured ribbon. She tied it on the gate and looked at it for a moment.

She heard familiar voices from behind her. She turned and saw Shen Tai, Kuang Ai, Nie Shufen, Bei Suzy walking towards her. As soon as they reached her, Shen Tai left their side and turned to Bai Shihan.

"Shishi, we are all planning to have a barbeque tonight? Would you like to join us?"

"Uhmm... I would love to but I have to report to the company tomorrow."

"Hey.. Don't worry.. I have already asked Renshu to adjust your meetings. So, you can reach back by late afternoon. Also, I have some work nearby so, we can go together."

Bai Shihan was surprised, her brother got her meetings adjusted without even notifying her.

She thought to herself,

'Why did he ask me to join when he had already planned my schedule?'

She took him to a side and said,

"Brother, you all are the crew members of the movie. So, it is alright for you all to dine together but how can I join you all?"

"Hey.. if you are worried that you are not related to the crew. Then, let me tell you, you can join as the sister of the producer or even more suitable 'accidental female lead'." He chuckled as he said his words. She slightly coloured at his words as she remembered the scene with Nie Shufen. He was obviously sure of her approval, now.

As they came back, everyone was tying the wishing ribbons on the gate. Nie Shufen had also picked a turquoise band and tied it to the tree. He turned to look at Bai Shihan and flashed a smile. Just as an instinctive response, she smiled back.

She thought to herself, 'His smile is contagious.'

Then, they came back and got the barbeque prepared. Bai Shihan was excellent at cooking and with Bei Suzy's help, she sizzled the barbeque.

While, the rest of them were busy chatting Bei Suzy was feeling quite excited to be with her idol. She finally decided to open up and talk.
