Nighttime

Because Mark was still asleep, Alissa didn't disturb Elena's peace. Elena was allowed to do whatever she wanted, and she had all the free will she is allowed to have. Alissa wouldn't allow that for too long, of course. That's because, the moment Mark wakes up, it would be time for Elena to say goodbye to her own body. She'll have to say goodbye, because at that time, Alissa would no longer be wondering around, rehearsing for her wonderful performance, but would be performing instead.

For sure, Elena had quite the sad life as well… The problem is, she wasn't fully aware of it. But, it's not like she can do anything about it anyway.

Soon it became noon, and later the sky became darker to show the moon. The sun had set. It was nighttime…

The strength of the drug must have been strong, since it took nearly twelve hours before Mark had finally woken up. Even Alissa didn't know that the drug was that strong, because apparently, she went to check on him every hour, after noon had passed.

Twelve hours is a long time to wait. That's why Alissa had become so impatient in the afternoon. She wasn't exactly just impatient of course, but more concerned, and also quite excited. She was concerned because she didn't know when Mark was going to wake up, and was excited because she wanted to get Evan out of Mark's consciousness already.

Time sure felt slow for her when she had to wait so long for Mark to wake up. Luckily, as a ghost, she was able to do plenty things to ease her boredom. She didn't go all wild, of course. Not even mild either. All she did, was enter Elena's mind way before she had interacted with Mark. This means that Elena didn't even have the chance to spend half a day with her own body. Alissa had suddenly robbed her off of her consciousness and body while she was about to eat lunch. It was clearly a blasphemous act of Alissa, because Elena didn't even have the chance to taste a good slice of her bread.

Surely, Alissa was quite the type of someone with a little bit of a devious character. She really did take control over Elena's body, just for the sake of eating her lunch in her stead, which says a lot about her character…

Other than eating Elena's lunch, Alissa obviously did a few other things in order to ease her boredom. One of those things is her spending time getting used to Elena's personality and body language. In fact, she also made sure to memorize every helpful memories of Elena, which the reason for, is because she wanted to be completely void from Mark's suspicions.

Speaking about memories. After Alissa had everything fully control, she went and entered Elena's memory plane. The plane that is completely white, and that is filled with orbs of core memories…

Of course, Alissa did nothing too important in Elena's memory plane. She did not study Elena's memories to improve her impersonating skills, nor did she search for anything that could be of help in the future. Instead, she went and watched every dramatic or romantic memories of Elena's life, as if she was watching a movie.

Elena had quite the years already. Hence, there were enough exciting memories for Elena to watch until Mark woke up.

Elena enjoyed watching the lovely and dramatic memories of Elena. She even enjoyed the memory of Elena's husband's sacrifice, due to how emotional it is. However, upon realizing that it had actually happened in reality, Alissa made sure to quickly apologize to the not-present Elena for viewing the death of her husband in the same way she views the death of a movie character. Luckily, Alissa hasn't lost her respect for other people after gaining the abilities of hers…

To have someone else's mind under control with a mere command. To replace overlap someone else's consciousness with one's own. To enter one's library of memories, and to be able to alter the entire library…

Such power can really change one's mind…

That's why, Alissa is lucky to not be too corrupted. That's why, Evan had warned her about the risks of telekinesis often times…

She couldn't see the dangers, of course. Technically, her luck was both a good and a bad thing. She didn't get corrupted, which is good. However, she couldn't really understand the dangers due to her not having experienced or realized it, all because of her luck.

Nevertheless, nothing bad had happened to Alissa in the time she had waited for Mark to wake up. In fact, everything went according to her plan, and she was even able to prepare herself very well.

It was time. Time for her to start her performance…

As to how she knew that Mark was awake. That's because, like the usual, she would check on him every hour.

On her last hour of checking on him, that's when she came to know that he was already awake. Based on how he looked, Alissa was able to assume that he was already up for more than ten minutes. His eyes weren't red, he had already taken a shower, and he was even preparing dinner. For sure, he must have been quite hungry after had basically skipped lunch…
