Matt was sitting in his office, his head buried in a pile of files. He was drowning himself in work and training to keep his mind off a lot of things.

The more and more information he received about his Luna, the more he grew concerned....for everyone.

His mind has been exploding with all kinds of theories despite knowing very well that only Charlotte can confirm...or deny them. But that's the problem here...

If he asked his Luna about her past then he'll have to inform everything to Alpha first....or else he'll have Matt's head. Matt didn't want to reveal everything to Alpha before asking Charlotte and he couldn't ask Charlotte without informing his Alpha first.

He wanted to give her the benefit of doubt. Besides, mate or not...she had the right to privacy just as much as anyone here.
