"I'm amazed at the way this case is moving. You're making me and the entire household of the Late Mr. Louis proud. Wherever he is now, he won't regret leaving everything in your hand".
Jimmy said as he was seen having a good time with Justice Zick in a place that looks just like a bar. The place was well-furnished and very calm. Zick also dressed like someone who just got back home from his office. Even his tie was loose. He already folded the hands of his sleeve. They were both carrying glasses of wine in their hands.
"My dear, I'm only doing my job. And our late friend deserves more than this. Had it been the table been turned, I know he wouldn't have rest until he does what is necessary. And that's precisely what I'm doing"
Justice Zick replied in a more jovial manner.
"Wow! I can't express how I'm feeling about how the whole proceedings are going on just as planned. But I miss Louis. Had it been he is here, this table could've been complete"
Jimmy said regrettably.
"Bro, they say adults don't suppose to cry for their lost friend. But the day I showed Jessy her father's supermarket, throughout the night, I cried like a baby. Occasionally, I even thought he was standing right by me, though I was mature enough to know it was hallucinations." Zick commented with a low and cracked voice.
"Now our bosom friend is already late. I always remember how we used to play like teenagers back then. Do you remember what he did on the day of the first child's naming ceremony? He turned it to clubbing with his jovial lifestyle. Where do people go when they die…?
Jimmy asked with tears rolling down his cheeks.
" Jimmy, that's already a story. We can give him our best by fighting for justice and also ensuring that we secure all his properties and also train his daughter to any length she wants. I believe we owe his daughter all we're supposed to do for him",
Zick said while trying to cheer himself up.
"In my next world, I'll like to have someone like him not just as a friend, but as a brother. His lifestyle is worthy of emulation"
Jimmy also replied while cleaning his tears with a handkerchief.
"Yeah! He's someone everyone would like to have as a friend. But he's already late. Drink up, friend! God knows why. Bartender!!!"
Zick screamed since he couldn't continue having such an emotional moment in a place where he went to spend his leisure time
In a jiffy, the bartender met with them, and they ordered more drinks and meat.
They were yet to be served when another friend of Zick joined them at their table.
"As you people are quiet friends, hope all is well?" He asked while greeting them with handshakes.
"All is well, bro. We're only recalling our late friend who died years ago but left some sweet, unforgettable memories for us." Zick replied to his friend, who was too inquisitive to know why they were quiet.
"You people must love this friend of yours. Is this his you'll be sobering whenever you remember the friend or something brought back the pain of the scars he left" Zick's friend asked.
"Now you understand!!" Zick replied affirmatively
"He was murdered and…"
Jimmy couldn't allow Zick to finish what he was saying before he creamed at the bartender.
"Bartender, make the whole thing in threes instead of two!"
Then Zick continued
He was murdered though we knew the culprit because there was a stronger hand behind the case then, so we were unable to follow it up then."
"Hmm! Seems my friend is doing what he does better," Zick's friend said jokingly.
"You can't imagine how long we've waited for this day to come. What we're talking about has stayed more than a decade."
"Wow! You waited. I hope the stronger hand that withheld the case since then has been kept where he or she's supposed to be. I'm even willing to join the crew!"
"The Boh, My man!! It has not gotten to that. Everything is under control." Zick replied to him.
"Better oh. No one touches the lion's tail and goes unpunished." He commented jokingly.
Ten bartenders brought what they ordered to them in a tray.
They ate, drink, and made merry for the day. While going home, Jimmy bought some takeaway for his family.
