Chapter 2 Taming Turtles Successfully

"Ding Ling! The system detected a tamable creature. The tamer system is being bound. Twenty percent, sixty percent, ninety percent. The tamer system is bound successfully!"

"Do you want to open the introduction page?"

Rhett Butler was startled by the mechanical sound in his mind all of a sudden. He subconsciously agreed to open the introduction page and wanted to see what was going on.

A screen lit up in front of him, but Nancy didn't respond. She thought he was just stroking the turtle. It seemed that only he could see the screen.

After reading the introduction, Rhett Butler had a general understanding of the system. When he passed through, he should have accidentally bumped into the space tunnel of a high dimension creature and integrated the system into it.

The function of the system was to help the bounded tamers tame animals and evolve them.

According to the rules, taming animals needed cultivation energy, and evolving animals needed evolution energy. The system could automatically get 10 dots of cultivation energy from the air and sunshine every day, and the other energy needed to be obtained by the tamers themselves.

Rhett Butler once invested in a game company, and this system was similar to the game-playing method he invested. Based on his experience, Rhett Butler asked in his mind, "Can the system detect the nature of the tamer?"

"We can update the tamers' nature value at any time. Do you want to open your nature panel now?"

"Open it."

Some numbers appeared on the screen in front of him:

Tamer: Rhett Butler

Tamer level: 1

Physical strength: 3

Speed: 2

Strength: 3

Spirit: 2

Life expectancy: 40 years old/80 years old

Cultivation energy: 10

Evolution energy: 0

Ability: No

Taming objects: No

Rhett Butler looked at his own nature and didn't expect his value to be so low. Moreover, all the abilities he had, such as fighting and capture, were not included in his ability. It seemed that there was a lot of room for improvement.

"Do you like this turtle very much?" Nancy couldn't help but ask after he touched it for a long time.

"Yes, I do." Said Rhett Butler.

Nancy sighed, "What a pity. I'll take it to pay the tax. But you can play with it for another two days."

"I think of a better way to use this turtle." Rhett Butler put the turtle on the ground. "I hope you can give me this turtle. You can pick whatever you like in my backpack."

Nancy was a good girl. Although she had rummaged through his backpack, Nancy didn't take anything from him except for that bag of chocolate.

Nancy didn't understand what Rhett Butler meant. "I'm going to use this turtle to pay the tax for you. It's a gift for you."

"Can I do whatever I want?"

Nancy noticed something unusual in Rhett Butler's eyes. She knew that Rhett Butler must not just want to eat a turtle. "Okay, okay." Nancy agreed.

"Thank you. You are a good girl. God will bless you." After expressing his thanks to Nancy, Rhett Butler looked at the turtle and said to the system in his mind, "Tame this turtle."

"Ding Ling! A level-0 tortoise was detected. It will consume 10 cultivation energy to tame it. Are you sure to tame it?"

"Yes."

"Twenty percent, sixty percent, ninety percent... The tortoise is tamed successfully."

As soon as the voice in his mind fell, the turtle on the ground suddenly retracted its limbs and head, and then all of them suddenly stretched out, and then emitted a dazzling white light.

Nancy covered her mouth in surprise. The turtle grew crazily at a visible speed, and its size doubled in two seconds.

Nancy immediately grabbed the knife from Rhett Butler's hand and stabbed it into the turtle's neck. Rhett Butler immediately grabbed her wrist. Nancy said in horror, "We have to kill it right away. It must have mutated! The mutated beast can eat people. We have to kill it!"

"It can't eat people. It has been tamed by me." Rhett Butler explained.

Nancy couldn't believe it. "Tame? Can you tame a mutated beast?"

"Don't you remember that I am an evolved person?" Nancy once told him that the world had all kinds of mutations because of radiation and other factors. After human beings mutated, they were divided into four types: basic mutated people, reinforced people, evolved people and super evolved people.

Just like ordinary mutated beasts, the basic mutated people had different body mutations and had different strengths. Reinforced people was a kind of person with strong strength among mutated people.

The evolved people were stronger in all aspects. The super evolved people were naturally the strongest.

"One of my abilities is to communicate with animals. When I touched it just now, I had tamed it. My second ability is the energy I stored in my body to feed them, so that they can grow up quickly."

Nancy was so shocked that she dropped the knife in her hand and took three steps back to look at Rhett Butler up and down.

Rhett Butler was 1.83 meters tall and strong, with tight muscles, giving people a sense of security. But anyway, he looked like a powerful ordinary man. "But you look like everyone else."

"Have you seen many evolved people?"

"No." Nancy shook her head and spread out her hands. "But I've heard from them that evolved people always have some unique characteristics."

"No, I didn't. I'm just like everyone else."

Nancy froze for a moment and couldn't help laughing out in surprise. She turned back and covered her mouth with her hand. She stepped on the ground two times, and then walked over excitedly to hold Rhett Butler's hands. "You are the first evolved people I have come into contact with at a close distance. I'm so happy. I actually saved an evolved people."

"Thank you for your help and for being willing to keep the secret for me."

"Of course. I mean, you're welcome." Nancy's eyes were full of worship.

"Do you want to see my taming result?" Rhett Butler asked.

Nancy nodded happily, "If possible."

"Of course." Rhett Butler communicated with the turtle in his mind, "What's your name?"

"Vance." The turtle replied.

Rhett Butler said, "Vance, turn around." He said this to the turtle in his mind.

Nancy had never told Rhett Butler the name of the turtle. She had given this name to the turtle before. How could Rhett Butler call it out directly?

Then the turtle turned around and acted as if it understood what Rhett Butler said.
