Chapter 68: Ghost City

The city had been protected by massive walls like any other branding city would but for some reason these walls looked older in comparison to the others. These tall standing masses of gray had been festered with cracks running from the top to the bottom.

The sky above looked just as grey now that they had landed below and in all the vibe that the city gave them hadn't been like any other they had felt before.

"It's still a little too quiet," Renee muttered breaking the silence as she brought her gaze to her members and said, "Let's go in then."

Moving forward Aksel wondered what was the security measures that this particular city might have taken as he tried to touch the old walls and found a layer of dust accumulate on his fingertips at once. It wasn't a holographic wall like in Aquilo and neither did it seem like it would have any security at the gate like Novus had.
