What does the word 'fucking' mean?

Liam told Willa to relax and help the kids. Seeing that there were three people incapable of moving, the twins decided to make some shelter for them all as it looked like it would start to rain soon.

Nio wasn't visible, and the three only saw the fluffy-looking black thing behind Liam. They didn't know what it was and even preferred not to know.

The sun rose without Haru, the old man, or the chef waking up. Of course, the toxins were much milder with cloudy weather, but they fell asleep like anyone else just a bit later.

Liam was the first to wake up, like always. He had recovered enough to get up and move around.

He sat up and thought about the situation.

The explosion was massive, and it probably reached the next city. How far was the city again? If they started to investigate the explosion, when would they be here? Today or tomorrow? It would be safer to relocate, but how would they do that when Haru was in this condition. There are quite a few people in the group, and we could carry the ones still unconscious, but that still leaves Haru.

"Ah, I'll better wait to decide until everyone is awake." He resolved and got up and stretched his muscles a bit. He was sore from yesterday, after all.

The first to wake up was the chef. After all, he just got a hefty dose of that herbal drink yesterday and hasn't been harmed in any way.

He started at his surroundings with a blank expression. He wasn't dead. The realization is written clearly on his face. He didn't dare speak or move, though.

Yong-sun and Willa woke up right after him. They had a natural resistance to the Daylight Dreams. The last to wake were the twins and the young brothers.

It didn't look like the old man, or Haru would wake up any time soon.

"So, this group has grown beyond my imagination. So, I thought I would tell you what happened yesterday and what I plan to do from now on. So, what you do, is up, do you!"

"You two have what I call a Natural Born Core," he pointed at Willa and Yong-sun, and after that, he pointed at the unconscious old man, "He, on the other hand, has made his core, like me. In the current environment, it's much easier to acquire it than at my home, which is basically safe from all dangers."

"Now, the explosion many of you felt yesterday was one of those made cores that were too weak and built on too fragile channels. That person was shocked by something to the extent that the core self-destructed on its own. The reason for that might be unknown, but I have two guesses why it happened. One is because his body was unsuitable and weak or the core-forming was forced on him too early in his progress in gaining that." he took a small break to see all of their reaction to all this new information.

"I didn't even know that it could do that. I was lucky enough to get away from it as soon as it started gathering energy. So, that also seems to be why you were all rather safe yesterday, as I blocked one part of the explosion. You probably saw what it did to the surroundings that I didn't manage to block, right?" They all nodded. One gulped in fear, while another one glanced around nervously. The others focused and listened to Liam's words, not reacting in any significant ways.

"Now! My plan was to move to a different location, but Haru and the old man are still unconscious. I don't want to be noticed by the people of Palmo who might be coming to investigate the situation."

"I will give you all time until sunset to figure out what you are going to. I will go to the river for now," Liam left after saying that.

The quiet in the clearing didn't last long as the smallest child got up and declared that he would stay with Liam. But unfortunately, the twins were in a more awkward situation. They wanted to travel with him, but they were under contract with Willa and had little choice in the matter. So, they looked at the Lady and waited for her decision. It looked like she had been thinking about the things quite hard, but she didn't say a word, and the twins were left in limbo.

The two brothers started to speak with each other and didn't stop for a moment. The two's conversation soon turned into an argument. But they left the clearing and went to look for Liam as they wanted to ask some questions.

That left only the chef, who didn't understand anything. So he turned to the twins to ask some questions. But the twins were reluctant to answer and told him to ask all those questions from Liam. That left him with no choice but to follow after the young brothers.

But he didn't have to go far as the man himself came back with the children.

"I seemed to have forgotten to tell you about the dangers of having said core. First of all, I was planning to search for the conditions of making the core with the people who travel with me, but the old man had said that the ruling families would take all the people who have managed to make one or birth a child that has one. I do not know what they do with the people. I just think that it's better to be safe than regret it later."

"It seems that you two have been protected or just slipped between their fingers," Liam said and looked at the two who already had a Core.

"No, I was not protected. They don't know, and neither did I. But I have seen a few random people being taken. They were all under heavy drugs. They were templed dangerous criminals with no prior crimes. But, why do they take them?" she had started to speak like she was in a daze. Her voice seemed to have floating quality or an effect, her eyes looking toward something only she could see.

"I know as much as you do," he shrugged at the question.

"How come?" her eyes brightened, "You look exactly like the Greenvaults do."

"Do I have horns?"

"No, but a technique can hide them from view. Most of the Nobles use it, saying that the horns ruin their look," she said emotionlessly.

Liam's eye twitched at those words. How could she say something contradictory? she didn't show her horse either.

"I'm not really … interested in looking good or anything of the kind."

"Why would you? You'd probably look breathtaking in whatever you choose to wear," her words were blunt and to the point, making Liam feel somewhat embarrassed by his looks.

"I've been told that before. That was also why I withdrew from social gatherings." So, he said and realized that the topic was off point.

"Sir?"

"Liam!"

"Yes!" Liam looked at Yong-sun and the chef who had pulled his attention.

"That is not … I have a question," the chef composed himself and received a nod from the man. "Why didn't I die in that explosion?"

"Well, I want you to teach me a few things?"

"...me, teach a Noble?" he was hesitant in believing his words.

"I'm not a Noble, but essentially yes," he contradicted him.

"Why do you keep insisting that you are not a Noble?" Willa still wanted to know.

"Because I wasn't born on this fucking planet?" he was getting annoyed by this.

"What's a planet?"

"What does the word 'fucking' mean?"

"Dear gods, help me!" he pleaded to the heavens. The others looked at him like he had gone insane. Maybe he had, but he couldn't have the conversation he wanted to with Nio and Biff because the people pestered him with questions until the sun started to set.
