Hunting for Cores

They gathered up eight cores, and Liam was pretty satisfied by the result and wanted to return to the kids. The sun was leaving the sky, and the night was approaching. They had been working hard since the early hours of the day.

"We should hunt more!" Nio said as he seemed to have gotten a taste of greed.

"No, I saw weird movements last time I was there. We should leave," he wasn't lying. The Tyrant Kings were getting suspicious of losing so many of them in such a short amount of time.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I can't explain it. I just felt that if we continue, then the whole thing would collapse around us," Liam said vaguely as he couldn't exactly figure out why he was feeling this way. "Either way, you can stay and do whatever you want, but I am heading back to the kids," he said resolutely.

Liam tossed the four out of eight cores to Nio, grabbed his humungous bag, and started to head out.
