"Send the guards out," Liam ordered with an authoritative voice.
"Yes, yes, right away," June began to do as she was told.
"Inform the City Lord and tell him to appear before me as soon as possible," Liam's voice was still cold.
"Yes, yes, right away." It seemed that the girls had forgotten any other words.
Liam looked at the pitiful woman whose tongue he had just removed and placed his hand on her—focusing on her body and seeing that she had no possibility of forming a core. There was nothing in her body that would interest Liam.
Liam took something from a pouch and forced her jaw open again. She was helpless in this situation and could only weakly flail around. He stuffed her mouth with a clean cloth.
'What is happening? Why is he doing this? Is he going to kill me?'
