"So, how does it feel when you gather energy? What feeling does it give you?"
"… it's like mist, wet and cold, barely there to feel it."
Grandpa chucked. "Like your voice."
"My voice is misty? But, how does yours feel?"
"It's heavy, thick, and tough to handle. I don't even know what it reminds me of, just that it feels big and heavy."
"Hmm, is everybody different?"
"I don't know. This is the first group of people I know who have cores and are actively trying to develop cores."
"Yeah, I didn't even know that such things existed, let alone in my body."
"Hm, you are lucky that you have it and that Liam found you before anyone else did."
"Why do you say that?"Willa asks as she thinks that grandpa has a reason for it.
"Just because of how easy it was for you than me." Grandpa deflects and gives her an answer that would send her in another direction.
"It was easy?" Willa asks, thinking that it wasn't easy at all.
