Liam didn't react and looked behind him. He still couldn't see where that bastard was, but the grass attached him so precisely that the man had to be somewhere nearby.
"Where is he? Why can't I see or sense him?"
"The grass is carrying him. It is hiding him and taking him straight to the gate."
'Does he think he would catch me at the gate?'
Liam looked around and spotted something that didn't look right. It was just a short distance away and moving at a similar speed as Liam did. He pulled out four of the fish bones and sent them flying in that direction one by one. Two of them were stopped by the grass surrounding the man, one was deflected, and one passed through the barrier, which split apart as Dwight's concentration on the plant was broken.
Dwight yelled, and Liam rushed forward, making the distance between the two longer.
The grass began to attack Liam again, and he had to swing his blade as he moved.
