Princess Jessic was not surprised by the man man's force logic. It was obvious to all that Jessica only brought up princess Dana to prove that a female could become the ruler of Dumbi, but the man deliberately misunderstood her.

"Albert, is it!" princess Jessica asked to comfirm the name of the man. She could see that a few lords who were against her agreed with his unreasonable conclusions.

"yes, your highness," Albert answered. He stood tall like a hero who was willing to die for the truth.

"Your highness," before the princess could say something else an old voice called out. He was the old General from Ramsey's table. He spoke up because he felt that this was an opportunity to return the throne of Dumbi to the rightful heir.

"you also have some thing to say?" princess Jessica looked at the old man she did not recognize. Although from his way of dressing she was sure he from an noble background.

"Yes, your highness," the old General said,. When Ramsey saw the man in front he wanted to drag him back. He had interjected with Jessica the most and he knew that she was very calm at the moment. It would have been best for the old General to wait and see how she handled the librarian that spoke before jumping out to speak..

"Speak," Princess Jessica permitted. When the old General heard this, he was pleased. There was nothing more he had wanted since he understood the history than to chase the Tait family out of Dumbi and return the throne to the rughtful family.

He felt this was a great opportunity to speak, many of the lords and Generals were from Dumbi and so if he played his card well, he might get the princess killed and established a new Dumbi.

"The people of Gousho had taken over our kingdom for hundreds of years, you established your throne and ruled over our people but there seems to be an integral starve. We all know how the king died. If you want to rebel you don't have to push our men into the pit," the old General said. It was clear that the princess had plans to avenge her father otherwise she would have covered up the cursed of his death. He had made this remarka to turn the heart of many of the soldiers as he was aware that a lot of them had submitted to her strength.

"Old General, could it be that you want Gousho to choose the next ruler of Dumbi" Princess Jessica knew what the old man was playing at. He sounded like he had the internet of the kingdom at heart but in fact he just wanted to push her to the edge but she saw the loop in his statement.

When the old General heard this he paused, if the kingdom of Gousho is involved then he could only let go of Ramsey becoming king anytime soon, especially because of the marriage arrangement between the princess and the second prince.

"No, your highness, I just think it time for our people to take over the throne. We can pay tribute to Gousho ourselves or you can be the link between the two kingdoms. Your Ancestors promised to rule the people with justice and fairness," the old General replied.

A few people immediately echoed their agreement with the old General's statement. Princess Jessica lowered her head like she was deep in thought.

Hearing many people support the old General, the stone on Ramsey's heart settles down.

"Are you saying my father did not rule the kingdom with justice and fairness?" Princess Jessica asked. Her father informed her a long time ago that the old royalist of Dumbi we're making a move to seize the throne so she was not suprised to hear the old general's words.

"You misunderstand me," The old General replied. He deliberately did not call her 'your highness' as he did not treat her so in his heart.

"Are you saying am stupid and have problems understanding human language?" Princess Jessica asked. This time the old General could only open his mouth but no words came out.

He could not say that the king was unjust as he was known for his fairness. Under his leadership the kingdom of Dumbi had done better and experience peace. There were man of the soldiers and generals that were loyal to him because of his strength.

He could also not use the word misunderstanding, as the princess had called it an insult. "Then according to the old generally should step down. My father had chosen me as his successor after carefully considering the fact that its was not agaist your custom," she paused and turned to lord G and the librarian Albert.

"Can either of you name a kingdom that has been defeated by Housho where the ruler cared about the customs of the people?" She asked.

Lord Kaun and Albert looked at each other, Dumbi was the evny of many other kingdom as it had flourished under the leadership of the Tait family.

"None your highness," the both replied with guilt.

"My Ansestor had used his relationship with the royal family of Gousho to allow you all live a good life. There is a saying that the winner has it all, but the people of Dumbi have not suffered this fate. Perhaps you have become very comfortable. You all dare to point fingure at how my father had died, have you forgotten why he and my grandfather did not get along with the royal family?" The Princesd voice was cold.

The voice of support die down, without the tait family to mediate, the tax and tribute they would have to pay would double if not triple. They all turned away from the princess and accused the old General of been old and stupid wanting to seize power in the name of fighting for Dumbi.

When the old general saw how she turned his words upside down he was dumfounded. He had looked down on lord Kaun for allowing himself to be led by on by the princess even if he was so old. It was only now that he was in the same situation that he understood how sharp the princess's tongue was

She always remained calm as she dug a pit for her opponent. "Then I will send a message to Gousho, I would not defile the promise of my fathers," Princess Jessica said. The lords and Generals knew that this message would not bring any benefits to the kingdom.

"You, Highness, do not listen to just one person. He does not speak for everyone," A lord who had always supported Jessica spoke up.
