When Princess Jessica saw this group of men a faint smile played on her lips. Although she could argue today and shut the mouth of many a lot of people were still not happy with having a woman sit on the throne. It was best to use the old tradition to shut them up, especially since she was going to rebel against Gousho.

Old Grey could not help but shake his head. There was no need for the princess to accept a challenge. He was scared that she might loss. After all, in the past few days the princess had been morning her father. She could not afford to be distracted but it was a fact that without this battle, her throne would not be firm.

"The battle would be held at the royal square seven days from today," Old Grey announced. Many people were okay with this decision. The only person who felt like hitting his head against a stone was General Daiz and his son Robin

"The princess is crazy," Robin could not help but voice out. General Daiz also thought the same, but thinking and saying were different. General Daiz opened his mouth to ask him to shut up the conversation close by made him more angry.

"indeed a loin does not give birth to a dog. Even if princess Jessica is only a woman she is eloquent and wise," a lord looked at Robin and did not hide his disdain. Previously he had supported the second house of Tait because they had a son. He felt that no matter what a son should not lose to a daughter but seeing how easy it was for Robin to loss his cool, he could not help but feel that he was stupid to have such thought.

"lord Gamino, it good to see that your eyes has been open. King Edward the third would not do anything that would hurt the people. A daughter can also be brave," A general spoke up. He had fought with the princess before and he knew that she was not weak.

King lorenzo was wise, he knew those lords would not be easy to convice, so he had taught his daughter the act of war. Many generals would bow to strength. As long as the princess could will the sword and protect her people they would be convince.

"What is so special about been able to talk?" Robin could not stand the words of this men. It's was like the princess was stepping on his dignity to establish her throne.

"if you are unconvinced then you should have stepped forward earlier to challenge her," the general argue.

"That make sense, he is scared of a woman but his ego is so big," Lord Gamino said.

"I am not scared ," Robin said. He would never admit that he was not so skilled with his sword. His father had spent so much money to praise and raise his name among the soldiers but he was lacking when it's came to actual skills. So of course he would not stupidly challenges her. It's was one thing to lose the throne but if he step forward at this time and expose his weakness where would he hide his face.

"My brother would have loved to fight for the throne but this is a battle between the royal families of Dumbi. We are front Gousho, and have no wish to rebel," Benedict spoke up. She knew that her father would blame today's situation on her. Even if it was her brother who spoke without thinking.

So she spoke up to save her brothers pride, this way her father would not blame her. When Benedict said this, she shut the mouth if the two men. General Daiz was proud, after all, in such a situation he did not know what to do.

Unlike his son, the princess swordmanship is real, if his son failed people would begin to doubt his position as a general .

"Uncle, is what my cousin say true? Your household does not have plans to back up my family ?" Princess Jessica asked. She wanted to invite Benedict to the palace because she feared that when her uncle was in a bad mood, he would take it out on her. She did not expect to hear Benedict say those words.

Since Princess Jessica had plans to rebel, if they did not support her then they were against her. General Dauz was shocked. Benedict's answer was to save their family face but he also wanted to rely on Goudho's royal family to take over the throne. This was why he had decided to marry from a noble family in Gousho but at the end of the day, his plans was far inferior to that of his brother.

His daughter suddenly became an heir of Dumbi kingdom. When they were young he thought his brother was blinded by love and decided to marry from Dumbi, instead of going to take a wife from Gousho like their ancestors but he only realise at that moment that he was too narrow minded.

"I will give you seven days to think and make a decision. After the battle for the throne you must either support my course or leave Dumbi. Didn't worry, I will not hurt you after all we are family. But after you return to Gousho. The people of Dumbi would become Gousho's enemy'" Princess Jessica said and walk away .

Her words were reasonable but General Tait was at lost of what to do. If he leaves then he would no longer be the well-respected General. He was not sure what fate would await him in Gousho .

Even Benedict was shocked, she did not expect her casual words to have such implication on her family. "I have to see Ramsey," as she could not decide. Dumbi had been the only home she knew. More so, even if Gousho won the war agaist Dumbi and her father was rewarded for cutting off family ties for the kingdom, it would have nothing to do with her.

Knowing her father, the man might even marry her off, to achieve his aims.

"Let Go," General Daiz instructed his children. He did not like the peers of eyes on them. He was also worried about saying another word that would be used against him.
