Chapter 20- Comfort yourself with the gift of present.

"Master, I've made a reservation for you and your little master in the presidential suite."

"Would you like me to notify Mr. Jiang?"

"You've come to see us after such a long time."

"He'll be delighted to see you." A man in a fine suit with a perfectly knotted blue patterned tie around his neck. He wore a batch with his name and the words "Manager Gao" on it.

He appeared to be well-liked and professional among his coworkers.

Jin shook his head, continuing to read the soft copy of the files in the large lobby with Mumu, oblivious to the man.

"Do they have a playground?" Mumu inquired, perplexed.

Jin did not even move his eyes, indicating that he had not heard him. "Yes, little master," the manager said courteously.

"Would you like me to take you around?"

Qian Mu looked at Jin, seeking permission, but received no response. So he gave a nod to the manager and held the manager's hand.

"Yes! I love the playgrounds. " He spoke in a loud voice to attract Jin's attention but failed.

Manager Gao was a professional person. He read the atmosphere and distracted Qian Mu. "I'm confident you'll enjoy this place, Little Master."

"Aside from playgrounds, we have a lot of fun places."

"Come along with me on a tour." He walked away with Qian Mu, but Jin did not turn to look at them.

When he received a call from Sheng, he was nearly finished reading and signing the documents.

"Master Jin, Su Manning, and Lin Xie are buying Group Li stock," says the assistant.

"The Chairwoman, Madam Li, appears to be completely oblivious to the situation."

"It's been a month since she's been to the firm."

"I just got the news."

"I have no idea where this Lin Xie gets his money from."

"Su Manning has been acting erratically recently…"

Jin abruptly hung up the phone, not allowing his assistant Sheng to finish his sentence.

"Things are getting out of my hand," he said, closing his eyes and rubbing his temples with frustration.

"I should have returned here years ago."

"This Senior Lin appears to have a tangled web here."

"It's time for him to learn a lesson." He muttered to himself, realizing that something was missing.

He shifted his gaze and noticed that the little boy's seat was vacant. He jumped to his feet, enraged, and approached one of the keepers, who appeared to be hurrying somewhere.

"Did you happen to notice a six-year-old child sitting next to me?"

"I saw Manager Gao taking him on a tour," the middle-aged keeper replied politely.

Jin nodded as he noticed the keeper panicking and running towards the entrance. He didn't have time to be concerned about it. He picked up his laptop and decided to go to his room first.

….

"Dear Madam Li, We warmly welcome you. " Four keepers bowed a little as they welcomed their VVIP customer, including the one who Jin had questioned about Qian Mu's whereabouts.

Autumn and Dongmei stood behind Li Zhen, flanked by a pair of guards wearing black specs and earpieces and carrying their heavy luggage.

After the car ride to Shenzhen, Dongmei was feeling ill. For a lady who was riding in the vehicle for the third time, an hour was still too long.

She'd traveled all the way here, vomiting and coughing again due to motion sickness.

Her sickness, however, was overshadowed by the joy of seeing such a lovely place as the resort.

In the dramas, she had seen many resorts that were far more opulent than this one. However, the real-life experience is quite different.

However, she was still depressed as a result of her mother's visit. Her words would occasionally reverberate in her head.

"Rectify your mistake!"

"Wed Lin Xie."

"Repent of your blunder and marry him." Dongmei was trembling and had her ears covered.

"Dongmei, enjoy the present," Li Zhen said, putting her arms on her shoulder.

"It's a gift," she says.

"Trust me, please." Will you? " she reassuringly stated. Throughout the journey, Li Zhen reassured Dongmei that she should ignore her mother's words and trust her.

Although Dongmei had a counselor's degree. Doctors are susceptible to illness as well. Li Zhen had nothing to do with the reason Shouyi gave. She was no fool if she didn't notice whether Dongmei was punishing herself or was depressed.

After all, Dongmei had no prior experience in that field, and all Li Zhen wanted for her savior was the best.

"Madam Li, Mr. Jiang has requested that we deliver a message to you." Says a young keeper.

"What is it?" Li Zhen asked, smiling.

"He sends you his best wishes for a safe and enjoyable journey."

"He hopes we don't let you down." Her dark red lipstick radiated a friendly charm as she spoke.

Autumn's mind was racing in the colossal lobby, and her eyes were fixed on the butterfly indoor fountain.

Li Zhen nodded and turned to Autumn.

Ya!!! Autumn, get back. " Li Zhen yelled mockingly.

Poor Autumn was dumbfounded as she rubbed her ears and said, "Madam Li, I am right beside you." She pouted.

"Oh, is it?"

"My bad, I didn't see you standing beside me."

"I thought you were posing before that fountain, which I don't think can run."

"You, the keeper..."

Li Zhen looked at the middle-aged woman who was dripping wet and sweating profusely as if she had just gotten out of the shower.

"Rachel!" she exclaims.

"Madam Li, I'm Keeper Rachel." She replied, attempting to maintain her posture.

"Oh! Rachel! I remember you! You were in charge of my room last time. Right? " Li Zhen spoke and reminded her of her last visit.

"Yes, Madam Li," Rachel replied with a nod.

"Please accept my apologies for the previous incident."

"I know you were misunderstood," Li Zhen admitted with a narrowed gaze.

"It's not appropriate to bring up the past."

"Tell me one thing," she demanded, her voice solemn.

Rachel nodded, her heart twitching on the inside. "Can that fountain run?" Amazed by the question, all eyes looked at the butterfly fountain, which since the resort's completion, they've been there.

Rachel immediately shook her head, "No it can't."

"Can it fly?" Li Zhen asked, avoiding others' puzzled gazes.

"Do you think it'll take off?"

"No!" Rachel answered, taking a glance at the fountain to be sure of her answer.

"Did you hear that?" Li Zhen asked Autumn, turning to her.

"Now stop drooling and follow Miss Bai into her room." She stomped her feet and nearly collided with Autumn.

Autumn nodded and offered assistance to Dongmei, who was both laughing and dizzy. They both walked away.

"That poor lady, her smile works better than calming incense," Li Zhen said, looking around at the laughing faces.

She sighed, "I hope she stops being so pessimistic all the time."

"Oh! Who do we have here? Madam Li...or should I say, Chairwoman Li?" A husky voice called out from behind. Li Zhen unfamiliar with the voice turned back. She was bewildered to see the man.
