They are soulmates and were supposed to cultivate together, but Qian Jin trained himself alone which endangered Dongmei's life. Bai Qi, forces Qian Jin to marry his daughter in any case and don't let her die.

"So you know that too?" Jin was bewildered and he leaned his body towards her and asked, "You have the aura, if you marry me, I can give you the well-balanced core energy and slowly the spiritual powers too. So, are you marrying me for this?"

"I want to live a normal life, and thus have no reason to greed over your powers, I have the blue crystal. I am your soulmate and I have no better reason than this," Dongmei was irked by Jin's questions which seemed to have formed a loop.

"Anyway, I cannot marry you." Jin declared his decision and folded his arms waiting for her reaction but Dongmei did not even blink and sat as if he said he was not willing to purchase a purse for her and she was not concerned because she had her savings backing up.

"Aren't you going to say anything?"

"What do you want me to say?" Dongmei had no expectations but she was dumbfounded.

"Did you not hear me? I won't marry you." Jin teased her again.
