Dongmei narrated everything, in the same manner, she did to her father earlier, Jin figured it out, it must have been Cai's replica of her soul that traveled there and scared the kids, no wonder she attempted to kill the children. Kai was powerless and her body was taken by her sister, who was eating her, Jin wondered if should have accepted her request and unlocked her powers, it would have prevented her from making a connection to her kind and also help them in the war against the starlings, as she wanted all at the stakes of her own life, but then he remembered if she had recovered her powers, it would be more dangerous than the condition of her is now, he had no regrets, he made the quick and right decision.

"Master Jin, what are you thinking? who was that person? seems like you know something," Dongmei asked holding his hand, caressing him, she needed his warmth.
