"Stephanie! Diane! I am heading to school," Stephen screamed from the sitting room downstairs, before grabbing his keys, and then making his way to the door.
It had been four days since Diane left home for the twins residence. Surprisingly enough, none of her family members had even called her to know about her whereabouts or her welfare. She didn't even know why she was still surprised that her mother hadn't called. The woman had made it pretty clear that she didn't give a damn about her anymore. But she was still her mother. She was still the mother who was once so close to her. Whom she had built fond memories with, growing up.
It had been the aunt of the twins taking care of her since she came. She had not even come with anything but the clothes she had been putting on that day. She didn't have her credit cards with her and she was pretty sure that even if she had it with her, her mother would have pretty much frozen them.
