"We aren't going to tell Niki about this." Lang said, and rubbed a hand over his face in complete nervous worry. Kendra was the only nonhuman in the room. Both Niki and Jin were out doing a few errands. 


"Why?" Kendra asked looking confused. "Won't they need him or something with the attack?" She said, they didn't know she knew about it. That his family was there, so she needed to play this like she would have had she not known.


"Not a word, not one fucking word about this to him!" Lang snapped and looked almost violent. "Fuck, if they got out we might have limited time with him. If they didn't make it out we are very screwed."
