Spirits and Warnings

"You were still injured and just left?" Juan asked seriously. "What were you just going to come in tonight and hope we weren't sent somewhere? There's no reason for you to leave injured, ever. We have what you need here." Juan actually sounded really mad.

"I was fine, just bruised. It wasn't like I left gushing blood. It doesn't matter."

"You should have said something to me. I'd have taken care of it easily." Neil told him. "It's not an issue for me to do nor bothersome. Just because you're human doesn't mean we think less, nor that you'd have to hide it." A bit of anger in his tone.

"Thank you for the lecture, but I'm not two years old. It wasn't the first time I left with bruises and it won't be the last. I simply don't think about them, they don't bother me. Besides, it would just make the rest of you believe that I'm still weaker. I don't need to be treated like I need a glass bubble." Daniel said annoyed.
