What's Inside Matters Most

Davina just felt this bright smile as she ran fast through the trees. While she might not know this land well, she could sense where she was heading. That only wild lands were out this way and so that was the way she went. Maybe it was foolish, maybe she was taking a chance on just ignoring what was going on around them, but it felt right.

She knew that she had been brought here for a purpose, she had been brought right to her mate. It was very clear that this was what the primal light had wanted, and that she was here now. This world might be her home for a long while, and she had one of two choices. Be miserable and mope about it, or accept it and make the best of it. Davina wanted the second option. When she got the chance to see her family again she wanted to be happy. She wanted to be proud of the mate she brought back to them. Proud of how she responded to him and him her. That they didn't let what they may have been created for pollute what this was.
