How Close is Too Close

'Thank god we are going to get food, I will literally start eating the people of this island if I don't get some freaking food right now.' Kaleer growled in Mason's head. Mason felt a little bit of a smile and was walking side by side with Adina as they went down a natural set of stairs in the cliff face. She had been rather silent since they started their way down.

"Adina." Mason stated and she looked up at him immediately. "Is it safe for Kaleer to go. He needs it." They had told the rest that he was just a kind of mage type creature. It fit his energy, but he also blamed the memory loss. They couldn't make him tell them what he was, so they did not know that he was a dragon yet. They would like to keep that to themselves. Mason had a feeling that the others might want to use him then. They would be at him for more than just being a male.
