A Waiting Dragon

"What did you expect Mason? Communication, best learn it now or you will have more bruises. The women in this family are not fond of being surprised like that." Liam warned him. Mason sighed as Kaleer shifted size and then swung over the edge. Mason leaned and gave Adina a quick kiss to the corner of her mouth.

"Trust me a little more Adina." She eyed him.

"Don't do stupid things and I will." She corrected and he just smiled, moving over by Kaleer. Liam had what looked like a leather strap in his hands.

"Do you mind if we tie this to a spike? We don't have wings." Liam said and Kaleer eyed him.

'Yeah, but if you manifest a saddle I will chew you up and spit you out in front of your mate.' Kaleer warned and that really made Liam laugh.

"I would never dream of putting a saddle on a dragon." Liam said and Mason was the one that chuckled. He liked this Liam, seemed like a good man. Best be seeing where they were taking them.
