Simple Pleasures

"Close your eyes." Adina said and met Mason's third eye with hers. Their foreheads touched and she told him to let his mind go blank. To just not think of anything and hear her. To focus on just her and that when she started to speak the words for Atlantean bonding, he was to repeat them.

It was strange, but as they stood there in this embrace and cleared their minds, it felt like the world went silent. No outside noise and all Mason was really aware of was Adina. Of how she smelled, how she felt, how she made him feel. It was a feeling of being met fully, of being complete.
