Meanwhile, Sophia was in Imelda and Ryan's house. Imelda and Anne (John's maid, soon to be Sophia's maid) helped Sophia to wear the dress she chose. It was a broken white silk dress. She wore silk gloves of the same color too.

Anne held Sophia when she wore the petticoat. Then Imelda took the veil, placed it on Sophia's head, and let Anne arrange Sophia's hair.

Then Imelda chose the necklace Sophia would wear. She already chose a yellow tourmaline necklace and yellow citrine earrings for Sophia. Yellow tourmaline is for health, protection against negative energy, and happiness. At the same time, yellow citrine is for vitality, positivity, and happiness.

Imelda placed the necklace and earrings on Sophia. Then she stared at Sophia through the mirror. "You are lovely, daughter. John will be ecstatic to see you today."
