Harry Morton was born in an age where magic and mana ruled everything. 

   He was unable to awaken his affinity and to make things worse he was born with a broken mana core foundation which meant he would never be able to create or develop a mana core. Since he couldn’t create a mana core, he would never be able to draw mana—not even the slightest strand.

    He was the first person to be born without a mana core foundation, the only one with the inability to draw mana.  Due to this, he was regarded as trash by everyone: his parents, his friends, the society and even the academy he attended. 

     It was until one day, during a mana beast attack when he almost lost his life. 

    He saw a strange white line rapidly moving downwards, towards him. Unbeknownst to him, the white streak went into his body. 

   When he woke up the next day, a strange message appeared in front of him. 

   DING!!

  The fireball kept going in the same trajectory until it hit the yellow barrier and evaporated as if it never existed.


     A slight frown appeared on the girl's face when she noticed her earlier attack didn't connect, however, she couldn't focus on that as the other Elementalist's figure was already rapidly closing in on her.


    Just then, a small blue ball started forming above the other Elementalist's left hand, its shape wasn't definite but swayed slightly as if it was slightly affected by the wind.


    The girl immediately started fidgeting when she noticed the water ball forming above the boy's hand, she still hadn't made any progress in casting a counter spell and she slowly got nervous as thoughts of her losing started filling her mind.


   "Water Ball!" The boy immediately released the blue ball made purely of water towards the girl. 


    It flew at a rapid speed as it travelled in the air, its shape and 'edges' swaying slightly.
