When Aditi woke up the next morning, her body was crying out with distress, last night was indeed rough for her first time, although she isn't complaining, as much as she was going to sound absurd, she enjoyed it too and found the pain in her body worth every moment of her last night with her husband, Hugh.
Husband…..she isn't used to that word. She unexpectedly married him, she is still processing in what mind she made her decision but it wasn't that bad though...At least, she loved his touches on her body, gentle yet rough together, which she never found a bit in her boyfriend's. Kevin always used to look for his pleasures first, never hers, he wanted hardcore, and she exactly wanted opposite but Hugh gave her much more in an amazing way than her expectations of sex. That's why she wanted to wait till their marriage to give her body to Kevin but in the end, he was never deserving of it.
Aditi looked around for the sight of her husband, she quickly learned he isn't in the bed, in fact, nowhere in their room either, she gets off the bed and first decides to have a refreshing bath.
After freshening up, she wore a red t-shirt and dark blue shorts while draping a towel on her wet hair. The rats in her stomach were dying of hunger, she walked into the kitchen only to find empty cabinets, of course, does he even buy groceries?
Aditi decided to order breakfast online. She strolled back in living room and grabbed her purse. She found it already left open. She doesn't remember leaving her purse open last time, she hastily inspects the purse, noticing hundred dollars are missing. Where did she spend them? She doesn't remember. Does she give them to someone? Still, no bells ringing. Did Hugh take it? Possible.
He didn't care to ask for her permission before touching her things, as much as it was pissing her off, bloody thief! She cussed, trying to stay calm because hunger was striking in, she grabbed her phone and almost dialed a nearby restaurant when the doorbell rang.
"Who's so early in the morning?" She mutters, taking the door, she finds Mrs. Flynn standing there with a warm smile and a bowl and a jug of juice in her hands, she's looking like a completely different woman than she was yesterday night, all angry at Hugh. Aditi thought.
"Good morning, Dear, I am Mrs. Flynn, this apartment's owner, "
"G-Good morning, Mrs. Flynn, it's nice to meet you, please come inside," Aditi softly said, allowing her to enter, she closes the door behind her.
"I brought some breakfast for you, " Mrs. Flynn said, placing the food on the kitchen counter.
Aditi can't help but smile thankfully, this woman showed up as her lifesaver, "So thoughtful of you, Mrs. Flynn,"
"No, so thoughtful of Hugh, he told me before leaving that you guys have run out of groceries and you would be hungry so he requested me to make breakfast for you, " She clarified as Aditi felt something in her heart for him, all her anger melted away in seconds, she thought him a thief and on the other hand, he cares for her.
She doesn't know if Kevin would have been in Hugh's place, he would have done the same thing for her, even though it's stupid to compare both of these men, but somewhere in her was saying Hugh isn't like those men out there, she barely knows him, still, she felt like she knows him enough to spend the rest of her life with him.
"Do you know where Hugh is?" Aditi inquired, leaning against the counter.
"No, he never tells me, but I am sure he'll be back in no time, you should have your breakfast till then," She suggests. Aditi nodded her head in agreement.

Hugh quietly took some money from Aditi's purse when she was asleep peacefully, promising to himself that he'll pay her as soon as he gets it, don't know how but anyhow, he hoped.
He first went to pick up his Harley-Davidson early in the morning outside of the bar where he left it yesterday night because of taking a cab with Aditi.
He bought a fresh bouquet of white lilies as he drove straight towards the gift shop, purchasing a big barbie doll and a box of chocolates. He reached the convent hostel building, it was a large building with many facilities including a nice large playground which is a dream for every kid but the orphanage kids.
Parking the bike outside, he strolled in, landing straight in front of a bunch of playing children who weren't caring about how much noise they were making, some teachers and Nuns were running after them too. Their little vibrant spirit made a smile appear on his lips.
His steps became hesitant when he entered the building's center, coming across Nun and in charge of this place, mother Britney, her blank expression replaced by a pleasant glance, "Hugh? Long time no see! Emma would be crazy happy to see you!" She let out, heartily.
"Mother Britney…." He noticed her walking in his direction, he held mixed emotions inside of him, "I don't know, I haven't come to see her in the last 3 months, she would be upset with me," Hugh trailed off, leaving a sad sigh.
She stood opposite of him and set her hand on his shoulder, glinting a smile at him, "I am pretty sure, it's going to be the opposite, that little girl always asks me when you are coming to see her, there are hardly any chances of her being upset, "
Worry hoisted off his head a bit, "In that case, where is my angel? How has she been doing?" Hugh inquired, following the indication of Mother Britney up the stairs towards the children's ward.
She spoke while guiding the way, "As usual, but you've to arrange the rest of the money before her next surgery, otherwise, you know better, " What Mother Brittney said made a chill run down his spine, he cannot imagine his life being snatched away from him if his little girl is gone.
As they got to the floor, Mother Britney went off, giving him privacy. Hugh notices the seven years old girl looking out of the window, her back facing him and still, he could easily examine her that she is sick, hurt, alone, and waiting for him.
He tiptoed towards her while closing her eyes with one hand. That girl was so quick to guess who the person was, she cried out excitedly, "Uncle?!" And with another hand, he put all the gifts he bought for her on her little lap.
He laughs, releasing his hand from her gaze, he allows her to take a glimpse of the gifts, when she sees them she screams in happiness and takes him into her little arms.
"Thank you so much for this, Uncle!"
He breaks the hug and looks at her, "Don't mention, so how is my little Emma doing? Did she miss me?"
"A lot! I am wonderful too, but I don't know why last week the doctor who came for my checkup told Mother Britney that I am sick and I don't have much time left, " She says, having no clue of how critical her illness is. Hugh made sure it was only between Mother Britney and him, he doesn't like Emma to live her last days thinking she won't live for long and he'll do anything to change the fate of this girl.
"Perhaps he meant for another Emma, " Hugh spoke, managing to convince her that what the doctor told wasn't for her.
It helped to lift a smile on her lips, "I know, right?!" She shouted believing him. He was hurt to lie to someone close to his heart. Losing her would be like losing his life too, no reason to live. He never felt this frightened ever before, he didn't have any idea of how to handle this situation, let alone have an idea of arranging a large amount of money for her surgery.
She has a brain tumor, fortunately, it is still curable if she got surgery on time otherwise her cancer cells will spread across her brain, making her super ill, he can't stand that.
A tear slipped through his left eye as he took her in a tight embrace, and held her head against his chest. Emma was confused why he was upset all of a sudden, although she got a hint that he was lying, she can't help but ask "Uncle, can you promise me something?"
He tilted his head and nodded at her, "Always,"
"Can you take care of Mommy? After I go to live with God?" She carved the chilling request to him, he felt uncontrollable emotions running through him. He knew if he broke down right now, he was just going to confirm her words.
He stayed strong and said, "Shh, nothing like that is gonna happen, and enough of this, don't you want to eat these tasty chocolates?" He changed the subject instantly as Emma's attention got away from this gloomy situation to the unopened box of tasty chocolates.
"Sure, Uncle!"
