Familiar Warmth

The sun reflecting the mirror wales already reached the horizon, showing the orange sky along with the sunset. Kiel knew that it was going to catch the lady's attention, so he parted the curtains in advance.

Since they were young, the lady of the Lowell Mansion has had this attraction towards sunsets that she's still carrying until now.

Interrupting her solo time, Kiel cleared his throat. "President, if you want to go home, you can tell me," he suggested. Seeing that it was already afternoon and Devyn got enough rest. She can go home now.

Devyn huffed. "I want to stay here for a while." she turned to him and pointed at the empty side of her bed. "Sit down. I have something I want to tell you."

The guy did what was told to him.

The lady sighed. "I had a dream earlier. You and I when we were kids." a slight smile appeared on her face. "Do you remember our first encounter on our back patio?" she asked.

Silence.
