A Threat

"What are you doing?"

Devyn almost stumbled in the backseat when the two men pushed her inside the car. She tried to strangle but her father was already next to the driver's seat. The two men sat side by side and the ride went on.

"Father, what are you doing?" Her face was already upset. Being in this stuffy atmosphere with them is not comfortable at all. She wasn't executing anything about this at all. How did her father know that she's here?

"Dad? What is happening? You don't need to force me like this."

Donovan's eyes glint in indifference. "Is that how you want your mom to get worried about you?" It was firm and his voice was clearly stating that he's the one on top here.

"You should have just called me." She said, "You didn't have to slap him,"

Suddenly blood rushed to Donovan's veins. "Are you saying that you're siding with that man?" His head partly turned to Devyn. "Do you hear yourself right now? Devyn?!"
