Siblings' Bond

EVENING

"It's very rare for you to call me." He smirked. "My dear little sister."

From his background, a groaning and whining voice can be heard and some noises coming from his subordinates trying to interrogate their target for the night. Dylan gestured his hands to them and stepped outside.

Just like Devyn, he's using the same brand of black cigarette. He lit the tip and leaned on the wall not far from their hideout. He huffed. "What's up?"

That deep voice full of concern rescinded in Devyn's ears. Her grip around her phone tightened. She's already had enough for this day and yet this man from the other call still called her his little sister.

Instead of hearing curses from the young lady, the silence only welcomed him. At this moment, Dylan already guessed that something was wrong. Devyn won't call him to get annoyed by his clingy personality as her brother.
