Her Home

"Is she alright?"

Felix stopped walking when he saw the two. Kiel was carrying Devyn who's asleep in his arms.

The Arnoux smiled and nodded. "She fell asleep while crying." He explained.

Felix's eyes went to the lady and noticed her swollen eyes. "She must be very tired." He moved back. "There's a room in the left corner. Calvin told me to find you to let you know."

Kiel's eyes got filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Mister Remus. Let's have a conversation when things settle down."

Felix chuckled. "It's fine. I'm just glad that you're safe. Devyn feels at ease now. That's all I want to know."

Kiel didn't make the conversation long since his arms are already getting numb. He walked to the said room and found a queen size bed there. After closing the door using her foot, he gently laid Devyn on the soft mattress.
