Come With Us

MONDAY

"Okay, class today we are going to read your favorite books. Did you bring yours?" Austin stood from his desk and smiled while looking at his students one by one.

Today they decided that they would be having a reading session by asking his students to bring their favorite book in class and read it aloud and give a short explanation why it was their favorite.

If they couldn't read it then he would be the one reading it. He wrote something on the board and faced his class. "Okay, who wants to go first?"

Silence filled the atmosphere. Even though he was with energetic and cute little kids, they were still shy to read in front. He was already expecting this, so he clapped his hands. "If you can't read it then the teacher will be reading it," he said.

Some of the students beamed and the serious expression on their faces disappeared. They all opened their books and were ready to ask their teacher to read it when one student raised a hand.
