First Ranger

I remained in the treatment room while accompanying Yena, lying limp. No one from the third group visited her; not even I saw Luis here.

The woman said I was the first of the group to visit her place. Seeing conditions like that made Yena look desperate; maybe she thought that her friends in the group had decided to leave her alone.

Especially with Yena's post-fight condition, which can be considered severe, I don't even see an opportunity for that woman to return to fighting in the vanguard.

I think her two years of service have finished up to this moment. But, inevitably, Yena must decide the way forward after her condition makes it impossible to fight.

"How did you get here?" Yena asked. She was just as confused as the other members of the group.

"It would be a long story if I told you now," I said curtly.

"It doesn't matter. I have a lot of time; you can tell it from the beginning to arrive here, "said Yena.
