Sophie was done with her work for the day,she had cleaned up and put on her shoes, her page on her shoulder, and as she stepped out of the living room to the front porch. The gate opened and Marcus drove in. Her boss she meant to think.
She was still angry and she wasn't planning to say goodnight but would berudr if she just left like that. So she stood and waited for him.
"Good evening sir.....I was just about to leave, goodnight." With this she turned to leave but stopped when he grabbed her arm.
"Sophie....."he called out.
"Is there anything you want me to do for you before I go." She asked dragging her arm out of his grip.
"This isn't about work" he said quietly.
"Am here to work, am just your maid remember?"
"Sophie..."
"If I have nothing to do for you I'll leave now." She turned to leave again.
"Am sorry" he murmured
She wouldn't have heard him if she hadn't been expecting him to say those two words. She stopped, and turned to look at him.
"What did you say?"
"Am sorry miss Sophie, for the way I spoked to you this morning"
She smiled "apology accepted, see you tomorrow sir" she turned to go not waiting to hear if he has anything else to say.
Marcus smiled and heaved a sigh of relief which had been penting up in him since morning. He walked inside to freshen up.

"The days flew by and nothing much as happened after that day, everyother thing just went in a blur. But I could feel things got uncomfortable for him too around me."
Sophie told Stacy who was so engrossed in what she was saying that she didn't hear her phone ring.
"Stacy, I think you have a call" Sophie told her.
"Oh sorry," she said as she searched her bag for her phone. "I was really enjoying your story I lost my senses." She said and they both laugh.
"Excuse me Sophie, this is important I need to pick"
"Sure"Sophie said sipping her drink as she watched Stacy go make her call.
She wouldn't lie Stacy was acting weird this days. She didn't know but she was a bit off.
Or maybe she was only imagining it though.
She came back in few minutes.
"Sorry about that. It was a personal conversation" she said.
"Uhmnn" Sophie replied nonchalantly.

"Marcus apologized to her! I bet that was a blick lie" Stacy told Brian as she pased up and down her living area.
"Calm down Stacy or you'll wear down your house. Sit now and calm yourself" Brian told her.
"Arrrrggggghh,"she said and sat down opposite him.
"I hate her...I hate her.."
"You can't hate your best friend"
She scoffed "best friend my foot"
"I already have a plan but it'll take a matter of time before I can carry it out."
"Plan?"
"Yes, come over"

Marcus dropped his phone and made way to the kitchen, he just ended a call with Brian. He needed to be in Moscow by tommorow. Oh God. He surely will Miss Sophie. Today was Sunday and he was just home doing nothing, he had finished all the paperwork he brought home to sort out. But he was going to retire early this night for he has a six hours long journey tomorrow.
