Ready

Lili was laying down with Lei by her side. The bed wasn't as comfortable as the bed in his Hong Kong house, and not even as remotely comfortable as her own bed.

But Lili didn't want to be anywhere else.

This place was perfect for her, by his side. And Lili felt that what happened last night was the first step to her healing. She didn't fear Lei. Maybe she would now be okay with other men.

"Does the team have free time now?" Lili asked, thinking. Lei was already away, holding her in his arms. He kissed her hair before answering.

"They should have vacation right. Yeah, they had two weeks at the beginning of summer free to go home, and when the season ended, their load was not so huge. So yeah, they should be free…" Lili now beamed with a smile.

"Do you think they would like to come here for vacation?" she asked, excited by the idea. Lili always talked about her country, especially with Huobai and Yitian. Maybe they would like to come and visit.

"Can you take it? Up until a few days ago, I couldn't even go near you. And I'm your fiancée." Lili rolled her eyes.

"But now you're here, having no problem touching me. And it wasn't my choice. I just…" Lili stopped and took a deep breath to calm herself down.

"I felt dirty. I was touched by that pig. I felt like I wasn't worthy of you. And stop. I know it's not true. But I felt that way. I actually still feel that I'm not good enough for you. But I will try to make myself worthy of you by loving you…" Lili finished even when Lei was opening his mouth to say something.

"Who is your psychologist? I can't choose whether to pay more for helping or less that they still haven't helped you enough." Lili laughed and leaned over him, kissing him on his lips. Her hair fell down, tickling their skin. So Lei brushed it away, placing it behind her ears, and held her face.

"Do you know I love you?" Lili chuckled and nodded.

"I love you too," she said and kissed his nose and then his lips. Lei let her do what she wanted to make her comfortable. And inside, Lili felt it. It helped so much. He made her love him over and over again.

"But you should warn them to never make sudden and inappropriate moves towards me, but I need to do this. I need to go back to my normal life. I can't be afraid of men." Lei nodded and hugged her. That was something they really needed to know beforehand.

"Do we know where they will be staying?" Lei asked, recollecting how her home could definitely not host over ten people.

"My cousin owns a small pension, so I will book rooms there." Lili frowned and then remembered that she had never seen them drink.

"He owns vineyards and a wine cellar. Warn them to never start a contest between them. He would drink them till they die," she said, firm about that. She knew her cousin's stamina and none of them would hold against him.

"Contest? Who would do that? They are not that crazy…" Lei started but then remembered the character of his brother and Yixing and sighed, making a mental note to emphasize it.

"Should I book the tickets for them? I can talk to Dylan about it," Lili offered herself, but Lei shook his head.

"You don't need to do that. Father will lend us his private plane, so we don't have to bother with buying tickets."

"Please don't be so eye-catching. At least not here in the village. I still haven't recovered my reputation of having sugar daddy from the last time." Lili sighed, sat up, and reclined her head back, closing her eyes.

"What do you mean? What happened last time?" Lei got a bit confused, but then his brain suggested one thing. He wasn't sure it was that, but he had a hunch. And Lili soon confirmed it.

"When you came to her with the convertible BMW you borrowed… Let's say half of the village came to see who you were. And what were you doing here... Then every time I went out of the house they would ask me about my sugar daddy." Lei was trying so hard not to laugh. He could imagine Lili frustrated about it. She hated the attention. But that didn't mean he wouldn't do it once again. Just for the fun of it.

"Okay. Got it. I will relay it to the team," Lei said and sat up beside her. Only he could tease her.

"Does that mean we are going home?" Lei looked around the cottage. He wasn't uncomfortable here. But he wasn't comfortable either.

He hadn't called his company in weeks, or at least more than two minutes. The team was being taken care of by Dylan and, thankfully, his father managed the company.

The surrounding terrain was something he wasn't used to at all. No reception, no running water. Thankfully Lili's cottage had it, but for drinking water, she still went to the woods to stream well. Not even the asphalt road was even here and whatever you wanted you had to either row to the lake, or hike the hill.

"When are we leaving?" Lei asked, for once sounding really excited. Lili laughed and brushed away her hair.

"You hate it here so much?" Lili knew it wasn't true, but she missed their teasing. She moved over Lei's leg and saw his face change and cloud with desire.

"No, we should go and ask the team whether they are willing to come," Lili chuckled, but moved herself up, so now she was positioned right against Lei's crotch. He looked annoyed.

"Then don't tease me. I can't get enough of you." Lei leaned in for a kiss, but Lili only chuckled and evaded him. She looked around and sighed.

"I guess we need to get out and prepare everything for them then…" Lei nodded and caressed Lili's cheek.

"Are you sure would a take it?" he asked, concerned. Lili was deep in thoughts for a while, but then her gaze focused on Lei.

"Will you stay by my side?" she asked. Lei nodded without hesitation.

"Always!" he exclaimed, and affirmed his intention with a kiss. Lili's face widened with a cheery grin. And then she suddenly changed the topic, out of nowhere.

"What do you say about me having purple hair?" she asked.

"What?" Lei asked, confused, and watched her get off him and start packing. Just like that. Leaving him totally confused on the bed.
