Hangover guys are snowflakes

"It might be a bug, this is the new patch, it's normal that something could be wrong. And it's only a premium-level umbrella. Those materials are easy to obtain so you can try as many times as you want." Lili nodded a bit calmer after hearing what Huobai said. His voice was low and husky from the drinking they did the night before. She tried it again from the beginning.

Forging titanium shaft and ribs, separately, then the handle from ivory, then she melted stainless steel and finished the last sequence of mini-quests. Lili watched as her character in the game started rotating the unfolded ribs and poured molten steel on them. It made a nice canopy.

In real life, the molten metal would burn everyone standing in a ten-meter radius. She once more sighed at the gaming logic and waited for the stats of the umbrella to appear on the screen.

But Lili's mood was better. Just because she was right when she warned them about drinking, they now saw the repercussions. And even better when she saw that for only a premium level, the umbrella had a pretty high P.DEF.

"Should we make a contest for it? In our guild? I saw some new dancers, and because there aren't many high-level, this should be good for a while. Especially with those stats. And with the tournament, we can monitor who has the potential to enter the team." Lili turned to Lei, who wanted to answer her, but Chao had already come back and heard everything. So he took care of it.

"Good idea. As expected of someone as smart as you," he said politely, and Lili chuckled. Suddenly, huh? Out of nowhere. He probably saw the huge pot of soup she was making in the kitchen when he went to get water.

As soon as Lili saw them yesterday, she knew they were in no shape to walk around or do something. So she had rescheduled everything. But that didn't mean she wouldn't tease them.

Lili closed her laptop and smiled right at the team. She could already smell the soup, so it was probably ready.

"Clean this up. We will eat soon so we can go sightseeing. Those who were the most energetic ones yesterday will come and help me…" She pointed at Wuchen, Luhan, Aijie and Yuhuai. Who, without a word, stood up and went to help her.

They had no chance to refute her claims. She already showed them the video. At that point, Luhan and Aijie already swore to themselves to never drink again. If their parents saw them drinking and dancing at the table, they would disown them.

But he wasn't the only one. Wuchen was dancing with the guarding dog her cousin had, and Hongjie passed out on the table, dead to the word that Lili had controlled his pulse too many times. Yuhuai broke two glasses, thankfully empty, and fought with Chao because he grabbed Yitian's ass. And Yixing and Huobai broke two chairs when they wanted to disappear and try some action out in public…

Lili still had to shake her head when she saw it and heard what happened. Yet, she warned them, many times. It was their fault for not listening.

Lili came to the kitchen, and the powerful smell of garlic could be really smelled from afar. She took a ladle and tried a potato that was in the soup. She added eggs and stirred for a moment, before taking the ladle out, and turned to the four of them, who were already waiting behind her.

"Take the plates and spoons. We will eat outside." She grabbed the pot and by herself carried it to the outside table, while Aijie and Luhan were only watching how strong she was.

"Never provoke her. She might be only a few years older than you, but she holds all the power. She is stronger than you think…" Wuchen sighed and Yuhuai nodded. They took the plates, glasses, and the cutlery that was already prepared, together with bottles of coke.

"This is basic egg garlic soup. We use it for hangovers a lot. The coke will help you with having enough sugar and burping… after that, you will feel a lot better. But still. We will stay here today. I will drive you back to the pension and you can rest today." She smiled at the cheers when she took a plate and the ladle started pouring the soup in. Aijie was so happy that he suddenly jumped on her and hugged her.

"Thank you, sis," he said, but Lili froze. Her breathing became jerky, and the ladle fell back into the soup. Flashbacks of the beatings she got were suddenly too vivid. She wanted to swing around, but her body was frozen. Someone was holding her, a stranger.

"Let her go, slowly," Lei said, his voice cold, menacing. She could hear everything, and his voice helped her breath to subside. And it really forced Aijie to slowly step away and even seek shelter behind Bai, who was next to him.

"Sorry, brother, I forgot to tell him," Chao said, and Lei nodded. He was slowly closing on Lili, his hands reaching out, showing he had no bad intention.

"Liliana, it's me," he said softly. She was blinking rapidly, trying to disperse the picture that was projecting in front of her eyes. She heard him, his voice. Lei would never hurt her. Lili slowly nodded and Lei hugged her. The familiar scent of his woke her up almost completely. A few deep breaths helped too. Lei's scent that she inhaled and his hug made her feel safer.

"Take her where you will be alone," Yitian said. Lili as she pinched herself so hard in her hand that two crescent marks appeared. The slight pain brought her brain completely back, but she was still hugging Lei strongly.

"I'm okay. Sorry for that. It was just too sudden. Aijie, it's not your fault, so don't worry about it." She smiled at him and appeared as if nothing just happened. Lili took the ladle and Huobai couldn't watch it anymore. He took it out of her hand and Lei snatched her away from the table.

"We are old enough to put soup into a plate. Don't worry about us, we will rest here. It's pretty cozy. Go with Lei and adjust your mind… for tomorrow," Huobai said cheerfully. It was something Yixing would normally say, so it surprised her. Especially after she hadn't seen them for a long time.

"Are you sure you are exchanging only bodily fluids and not your personality?" she asked and Chao, who already had his soup almost choked at it. He looked into his soup and saw small white pieces flowing in it. He knew it was an egg. But that didn't help much. He put the spoon down and frowned at Lili.

"I guess, LILIANA, you had to say that. Now I feel like puking again," he said and really got up from the chair and went to his usual place. He was a regular there already. He had even named the flowers that were growing not far away.

Huobai looked into the soup and saw the white pieces and his stomach, which was okay until now, really hated it. It started growling, and he had to get up and ended up in the same place as Chao.

Lili laughed and felt them really hard. When she was younger, she had worse hangovers. She never puked, but that didn't mean her stomach wasn't upset. Sometimes she used to think puking would be better.

"Are you okay?" Lei asked her, still hugging her from behind, resting his chin on her face.

"I'm okay, I'm just not familiar with him. I think if it was Chao or Yitian, I would be okay. Maybe even with Shanshan. But I met him for the first time, so I still don't know him." Lei nodded and kissed the back of Lilis' neck.

Immediately she got goosebumps and her breast tensed. That was how sensitive her neck was. And even worse with Lei.

"What about after lunch sending them to the pension and having some fun?" she turned around, ignoring the disgusted stares from others. Lei winked at her and nodded.

"Of course. They are useless now, so they should rest." Chao came back and when he saw their PDA, he made a gagging sound.

"Get yourself a bed…" he said as he sat down.

"Down worry we will. We are only waiting for you to get out. Or you want to hear us?" Lei refuted and suddenly the speed with which they were eating increased and they became overly focused on their plates. Lili laughed out loud and sat down to eat, too. She would wait…
