Dark side

Beatrix positioned herself at the edge of the bed.

Damien, who was seated in a chair across the room, had his legs extended and his amber eyes fixed on her, as if he were a predator studying its prey. His gaze was intense and possessive, yet it did not scare her. Instead, it excited her.

Rhys was sitting there too, a mischievous smirk on his face. She was growing restless the more she sat without them saying anything.

They had come to the bedroom after she told Damien to show her what she had been missing.

The silence was deafening and she fidgeted. She was dying to feel their touch on her body.

Damien's mouth twitched, as if he knew what she was thinking of. "Come here, Beatrix," he commanded.

Beatrix slid off the bed and walked toward him.

When she reached him, Damien issued another order. "Kneel."

She obeyed without thinking. She trusted him and that was the most important thing.

"Good girl." He stroked her hair gently.
