Home

ONE WEEK LATER

It's been years since Damien had set foot in this place. The concept of home after his father died had been foreign to him.

His uncle had let him live with him after his father died but never once had he felt safe or even liked.

It's was a mere battlefield in that house where only the stringer came out alive.

His uncle didn't shower him or even his own kids with affection. He downright put them against each other so they would become invincible.

He fed them with this crazy idea that they could take over the family business out of his hand.

But they had underestimated him. He wasn't his father's son for no reason. The torture and abuse his father had inflicted on him had prepared him for whatever sick calculation his cousins and uncles had plan.

They had said he was too young to run the family business and he didn't argue with them. He had given the position to his uncle.
