After surviving an android attack, Kevin Lee Smith wakes up to find his human body replaced with a metal exoskeleton. When Kevin’s body is destroyed, his brain is hooked up to the Experimental Cybernetic User Interface (ECUI). The Ultimate Cyborg

It didn't take long for Dr. Zhao to get down to business. Switching to the external repair and modification menu, he activated the selective electroplating mode. The damaged parts of Kevin's exoskeleton were gradually filled up with a special alloy deposit.

A robotic laser welding arm worked in conjunction with the electroplating bots, fixing the joints and armor plates. Kevin remained conscious throughout the entire process, but he barely felt a thing. In just a couple of hours, the basic repairs were complete.

Dr. Zhao was about to begin the skin grafting and facial reconstruction again when Kevin protested.

"I don't want to look human. I don't need the artificial skin and face."

"What's this about?" Dr. Zhao asked confusedly.
