After surviving an android attack, Kevin Lee Smith wakes up to find his human body replaced with a metal exoskeleton. When Kevin’s body is destroyed, his brain is hooked up to the Experimental Cybernetic User Interface (ECUI). It is an adaptive fighting system designed to transform the user into the ultimate killing machine.  As he begins life anew as a Cyborg he struggles to tread the fine line between man and machine.

The Ultimate Cyborg

Cairo had a history of stirring up trouble. She was rash, impulsive, and had little regard for authority. The Professor knew she was not the most level-headed Scrapper, but he never expected her to be crazy enough to drag an android to their doorstep.

What was even more shocking was that Mira had allowed it to happen. She had always been the voice of reason. Though Professor Jenkins did not trust Cairo, he had complete faith in Mira. Yet, here she was trying to advocate for Cairo instead of rebuking her for her actions.

For a moment, the Professor thought he was hallucinating. He could neither believe his ears nor his eyes. When he finally managed to calm his nerves, he jumped to the most logical conclusion that the sisters had mistaken an advanced helper bot for an android. It seemed implausible that two Scrappers would be able to capture an android so easily.

The Professor's secret
