The little things

People in the Residential District flocked to the platforms to see the newcomers. They had heard plenty about the twins from Lazarus and their amazing biking skills.

While the young men were crushing on Mira and Cairo, the ladies were charmed by the rugged old Scout whose sniping skills had made him a legend among them.

"Mr. Guzman! Can I get an autograph?" A little five-year-old girl cried, running up to the old Scout. She was holding a slender red crayon and an old sketchbook with a torn cover.

Guzman couldn't say no to those puppy eyes. A smile appeared on his serious face as he looked at the cute little thing sporting a sleek ponytail.

"What's your name, young lady?" Guzman asked, getting down on one knee to match her level.

"It's...it's...Maya," she answered with a hint of reticence.

"Maya...now that's a really sweet name. How old are you, Ms. Maya?" he asked with a playful smile.

"I'm four, Mr. Guzman."
