After surviving an android attack, Kevin Lee Smith wakes up to find his human body replaced with a metal exoskeleton. When Kevin’s body is destroyed, his brain is hooked up to the Experimental Cybernetic User Interface (ECUI). It is an adaptive fighting system designed to transform the user into the ultimate killing machine.  As he begins life anew as a Cyborg he struggles to tread the fine line between man and machine.

The Ultimate Cyborg

The Scouts and Scrappers in the expeditionary team had recharged their hoverbikes and split into two squads as advised by Kevin.

Nash had gone with Ravi to scout the road ahead and obtain information about Raider patrols and checkpoints, while Cairo and Mira had undertaken the responsibility of taking down the transformers and radio towers.

The only person missing from the team was Dr. Zimmer. He had chosen to stay back at the motel to run more tests on Alan's corpse. Though it was risky to leave the Raider alone, he was their best shot at finding a cure.

Kevin knew it was entirely possible for the Raider doctor to stab them in the back if given the chance, so he had planted a concealed microphone on him to stay updated with his activities.
