Lux spent his days playing with Martha, training with Mateo, and creating lasting memories with them. He took them to various places, such as feeding fishes at the lake, admiring flowers by candlelight, dancing with villagers during celebrations, and running through flower fields.
As the days passed in the blink of an eye, war drew closer and closer.
Mateo, Lux, and their soldiers rode their horses into the enemy's territory. Lux still didn't wanted this, not this life but it wasn't a choice now as he just followed the others.
Lux dismounted and donned his full-face mask, venturing into the chaos of battle. The air was thick with dirt, making it difficult to see. Lux sought out the enemy king, aiming to end the war and just have peace.
As the smoke cleared, Lux found himself surrounded by enemies. With swift and precise movements, he dispatched several guards, causing fear to spread among them. Mateo, witnessing Lux's actions, couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Mateo was in disbelief. That couldn't be his brother. No.
"Who are you?" Mateo shouted, his heart racing.
"I am the Blade," Lux replied in a chilling voice. "Lux is not here right now. Don't worry, he will come back..."
The enemies charged at Lux, but he fought back fiercely, wielding his sword with deadly precision. The villagers cowered in their homes, afraid to venture out.
Blade searched the castle for the king and queen but found no trace of them. He followed footprints to a small hut where he encountered a young girl named Delia.
"Hello! Are you new here?" A girl greeted him warmly.
From chaos to sudden kindness changed Lux back to his old kind self. He looked around, not remembering anything before spotting the girl.
"Thank you for your kindness. Say, where are your parents?" Lux inquired.
"I don't have parents, only an elder brother. My name is Delia, and I'm 13 years old," she replied.
Lux asked Delia to close her eyes while he removed his mask. Delia marveled at his appearance, fascinated by his black hair.
Delia's kingdom soldiers pushed the Inshilux warriors far from their kingdom. The chaos sounds were dim, almost unheard by the two.
Lux bid farewell to Delia and began his journey home from wherever he was. But before he could reach the fallen guard's head, someone stabbed him in the back. As pain surged through him, another blow to his head sent him into darkness, his mouth spitting out blood
