Chapter 14 : The New Apartment

After Hector's departure, Eleanore immediately did what she had to do, such as change the code for the apartment she was in with Ivander at the moment. To make it easier for Ivander to remember, Eleanore also set their apartment code to 6666.

Eleanore smirked when she realized what she had done, then she went into the apartment to take another look at the new apartment she was going to live in. Honestly, this is the first time Eleanore has seen a luxury apartment like this, she never imagined that she could occupy this luxury apartment.

"It really feels like a dream," muttered Eleanore, still unable to believe that she could occupy this luxurious apartment. Eleanore explored all the rooms in the large apartment she was occupying now.

Until then, when Eleanore opened one of her rooms, she was surprised to see Ivander in there. "So you're going to occupy this room?" asked Eleanore from the doorway of the room Ivander was in.

Ivander glanced at Eleanore's figure out of the corner of his eye, "Yes, it seems I have to teach you how to enter other people's rooms with manners," Ivander replied with a little sarcasm that Eleanore entered his room without knocking on the door first.

Eleanore subconsciously rolled her eyes when she heard what Ivander said to her, "Yeah, yeah, it's my fault for coming in without knocking on your door first. After all, I didn't know you were in this room," replied Eleanore lazily, then intended to leave.

However, before Eleanore could take a step, she felt her arm being pulled back. When Eleanore realized her back was facing the wall behind her and when Eleanore looked up she saw Ivander grinning in front of her.

"W-what are y-you doing?!" Eleanore's eyes widened in complete shock when she saw what Ivander had done to her. Eleanore's heart was beating fast, she didn't know if it was because she was afraid or fascinated by the figure of Ivander who was currently very close to her.

"Looks like you've forgotten who I am, huh?" said Ivander not forgetting his handsome grin, it seems like it would be fun to play with this human in front of him, especially seeing how nervous Eleanore is right now.

"Of course not, great Vampire Lord!" Suddenly Eleanore immediately praised Ivander with all the words of praise she knew, not wanting to make the old Vampire angry with her, it could be bad if Ivander changed his mind and drank his blood instead.

"Is that so? Then, why do you dare to be rude to me?" Ivander's hand began to gently caress Eleanore's smooth cheek, he wanted to see how long she could endure his temptation.

Instantly Eleanore had goosebumps all over her body as Ivander's cold fingers brushed her cheeks slowly, her breath caught as she felt those cold fingers tracing her face, it felt like Eleanore's heart was going to explode with fright at this moment.

Not being able to see Ivander getting closer to her, Eleanore screamed while pushing Ivander's body away from her, feeling that Ivander was getting away from her, Eleanore immediately ran out of Ivander's room to save her.

After running for a while, Eleanore hid behind a wall and slowly fell to the floor, "Damn it! That damn vampire is very dangerous for my heart health," said Eleanore holding her chest which was still rumbling uncomfortably.

Just in case, Eleanore peeked from behind the wall behind her to see that Ivander wasn't after her, only when she saw that the situation was safe, only Eleanore could breathe a sigh of relief.

"Finally, I can get away from that man." Eleanore got up from her position and decided to decide where she would sleep tonight.

This apartment has many rooms, there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, not to forget a spacious kitchen. And there is also a dining table that can accommodate four to six people.

Eleanore felt that this apartment was too big for two people to live in, if it was her she wouldn't have chosen this apartment, but since she lives here for free, then she wouldn't waste it either. Happily, Eleanore chose a room far from Ivander's, she didn't want to be near him.

One thing that Eleanore is grateful for from her new place of residence is that it is close to her campus, so she doesn't have to bother taking public transportation to get to her campus.

Eleanore only needed to walk for thirty minutes and she had arrived at her campus, coincidentally today Eleanore had an afternoon class, so she had to leave immediately after tidying up the room she chose.

Before going to campus, Eleanore first looked for Ivander to say goodbye to the man, she didn't want his departure to be a problem for the old Vampire.

Eleanore returned to Ivander's room, this time she didn't forget to knock on the door and wait for Ivander to let her in. When she heard a reply from inside, only then did Eleanore dare to enter Ivander's room.

Seeing Ivander standing in front of a large window in his room, Eleanore who saw it didn't say much and immediately said what she needed to do with Ivander.

"I have class this afternoon, so it looks like I'll be home a little bit late," said Eleanore curtly.

Ivander shook the wine glass in his hand, his gaze never leaving the window, "Just go," said Ivander, waving his hand slowly, telling Eleanore to leave immediately in front of him.

Eleanore just furrowed her brows in surprise, but didn't say anything to Ivander, without wasting any more time, she immediately walked away from Ivander's room.

"His mood changes so easily," muttered Eleanore confused by Ivander's behavior, even though earlier he seemed very eager to tease her and now he seemed like a little bit ... mellow?

Eleanore shook her head, then rushed out of the luxurious apartment and stepped on her feet with enthusiasm to go to her campus.

Eleanore met Lizy in front of her campus, it seemed her best friend had just arrived. "Oh, Lizzie! You have class this afternoon too?" asked Eleanore while walking towards Lizy who smiled brightly when she saw her.

"Nah, I'm here for other activities. I don't know if you have class this afternoon, if I know it before, I can pick you up," replied Lizy immediately holding Eleanore's hand and they walked together into the campus area.

Instantly Eleanore remembered that she was now living with Ivander in a new place and she had not told Lizy this. "No need for that, I'm used to going alone," replied Eleanore with a nervous laugh.

Cold sweat started to appear on Eleanore's forehead, she felt that now was not the right time to tell Lizy about the special situation facing her. Just imagine, how Eleanore explained that she was currently tied to a Vampire, who would believe her words?

To avoid that, for now Eleanore will keep this a secret from Lizy, even though she feels very guilty about it to her best friend.

Lizy narrowed her eyes at Eleanore, "You! Don't you want to go with me anymore?" Lizy said while pursing her lips in annoy at Eleanore.

Eleanore couldn't help but smile awkwardly, not knowing how to deal with Lizy now.
