Divergent Being

Five days later

"Mikhail?"

Mikhail turned around and saw Molly with Jordan and Linh. He smiled at them and continued to stare at the sunset for a few seconds before went to the three of them that asked if he is ready or not. He only gave a sharp nod and together they entered an old hut where they met by a short and old woman that stared at Mikhail.

What happened? Well, they are inside the house of an elder Celestial with the ability of witchcraft who can help them to make Mikhail remember what happened after Anne stabbed his head and how did he end up at the outside of Tokyo.

"Baba, this is Mikhail. The-"

"The Cursed Child. Please, take a seat and for you, sit here." Baba pointed on the ground that have candles in a circle position. Mikhail did what she asked and looked at Molly with a nervous and afraid only for her to smile at him and reassure him that there is nothing wrong. "My friends told me that you are unable to remember anything after Elizabeth stabbed your throat, am I right?"

"Yes baba."

"There is no need to afraid, child. I am here to make you try to remember what happened. Rest assured, young Mikhail." Baba said to Mikhail who nodded his head. Baba sat in front of him, facing the nervous Mikhail and began to chant a very familiar mantra.

At first, Mikhail felt nothing but in the next few minutes, he felt hot and difficult to breath. He then felt a presence behind him. He tried to turn around but the moment he moved his head, Baba screamed at him, ordering him to not turn and look what's behind. He could feel a trail of cold sweats passed down in the nape of his neck. And in just a moment Mikhail lost his consciousness due to four of them entering his mind.

Baba with the three other Celestials found themselves at the place where Mikhail was killed by Anne. They watched him slowly opening his eyes and stood up as his wounds healed in few seconds. Then, he fell to his knees, screaming in pain before a malicious aura appeared and consumed Mikhail. He then chuckled and laughed hysterically before rushed to Anne and Jordan.

Then, the memory shifted to where Mikhail fought Anne and brutally defeated her. Before they could watch furthermore, Mikhail looked at them and chuckled as he pointed his finger at them and screamed, causing the memory shifted to a bleeding Mikhail who was nailed to a metal table with Black Diamond watching Anne and a masked woman that Molly recognized as Kendall Rene.

Much to their horror, the two Demons are pumping Black Diamond's blood into the unconscious Mikhail. The memory quickly changed to a demonic Mikhail killing dozens of women and children as he is laughing manically, enjoying what's he doing.

Once the memory ended, the same demonic Mikhail that they saw-- stood before them and struck Baba, incapacitating her. Molly, Linh, and Jordan tried to attack the demonic Mikhail, but they all were knocked into the ground with Molly being lifted to the air and knocked away. The Demon then pinned Molly to the ground and growled at her, prompting the young woman to ask him who he is to which he replied,

"A divergent being… far superior than your own race and now you will face the judgement for trying to enter my domain!!"

The Demon touched Molly's head, forcing her to see a vision of Mikhail. There he stood in the middle of ruined Tokyo. Countless bodies scattering around him as if it was a throne made of blood and flesh—and Mikhail was the ruler of it. Molly then tried to call out for his name when Black Diamond, in a very demonic and powerful form appeared behind Mikhail and placed her hands on his shoulder. She then whispered,

"Good job, my divergent being."

After that, the two of them noticed Molly and Black Diamond immediately ordered Mikhail to bring her head to her for a trophy. Without any objection, Mikhail chased after Molly who responded by jumping away and raised her arms, blocking a powerful kick that sent her to the ground. When she tried to stand up, Mikhail slammed her to the ground with his foot and manifested a blade to kill Molly but failed when a bright light came from the sky and hit him.

Mikhail noticed someone that glowing in blue light appeared in front of Molly with a sword and swung it at his neck, decapitating him. Molly looked at the mysterious figure with cautious and stunned to see it is Mikhail who's smiling and extending his arm. When she grabbed his hand…

She blacked out and returned to Baba's hut with others who were speechless and wondering what did they just witnessed? Molly then immediately went to the unconscious Mikhail and placed her hands on his face, trying to wake him.

"Bubu…? What happened? Did it work?" asked Mikhail to Molly who only smiled and shook her head. "Let's do it again then!"

Baba then immediately said, "No, it's fine. I think that's enough already what we saw. For now, Mikhail… Tried not to get yourself killed again, okay?"

Mikhail nodded his head and hugged Molly who smiled. She then thought about the vision that she saw earlier, it felt so real and inevitably going to happen one day.

'No matter what will happen, I won't let that future happen.'

After bidding farewell to Baba and Mikhail even thanking the old woman that made her smiled and told him to come to her whenever he needs guidance, the four Celestials went to the nearby restaurant because Mikhail kept bugging Molly that he's very hungry. As they are walking towards their destination, Mikhail suddenly stopped moving, making everyone alerted to his sudden behavior.

"Back then… When you guys tried to make me remember, I experience something that felt real to me."

"What was it?" asked a concern Jordan to his friend who crossed his arms, a habit that shows he is struggling to tell them. "Mika, there is no need to struggle to share what you wish to tell us. What are you going to say will between all four of us only."

"I saw myself killing every single people in this world including all of you. Black Diamond also appeared and praised me, referring me as her loyal pet." Mikhail said to them, much to their surprise. Then, he continues to speak, "I have a request. Well, more like an order."

"Tell us. We will try our best to do it." Linh spoke to Mikhail.

"If any of you see me choosing the path that will lead to chaos and destruction, don't hesitate to kill me."

They all were shocked and looked at each other. Is he serious? Is he really serious on requesting them to kill him? Molly then grabbed Mikhail's hands and told him that they will find alternative even if it takes them years. She smiled [she gave him a smile] at him and then told him to focus on eating now, making Mikhail giggled and happily walking to their destination. Molly only released a sigh and chuckled but after that, she took a deep breath to think about the vision that she saw, and Mikhail told them about.

"A divergent being… What did he mean by that…?"
