6: Unexpected Eyes

-Uchiha Compound-

"Now did you understand my instructions."

Fugaku and Obanai was in the Uchiha compound.

After Obanai made a request to his Uncle on helping him unlock his chakra, fugaku cleared all of his schedules just to help his nephew.

Obanai didn't respond as he just nod.

Obanai followed his Uncle's instructions. He sat on the ground, crossing his legs.

First find the energy-like in my body, second guide the chakra to circulates throughout my body in a network called the "Chakra Pathway System", which is similar to the cardiovascular system. 

Then third is to release the chakra outside my body through pressure points called tenketsu. However, since my tenketsu are still sealed, I have to force the chakra.

I was in a deep thought looking for the Chakra.

But I had slowly started to get a better feeling of my chakra somehow and I latched onto it.

Carefully I tried to draw it towards me, even though it was inside me, and then it felt like a dam breaking.

A rush of energy ran through my body and the feeling that usually made me feel warm and my hairs stand intensified.

However, that warm feeling was gone after forcing it outside the tenketsu points.

It fucking hurt as hell.

I endured it just to unlock my chakra.

After what seems like days for me, even though it was just a minute that had passed.

I felt the warm feeling again, I guide the chakra again inside me to not let a single Chakra flare out.

I've heard in the original story, when a shinobi's chakra runs out of gas, then they would die.

I have no intention of dying young so let's control my chakra stuffing it all inside.

Fugaku outside was shock seeing how little time Obanai need just to unlock chakra, when Fugaku was young he had unlocked the chakra for about 5 hours yet his nephew only need a few minutes.

Fugaku was not suprise seeing Obanai having a large Chakra reserves as his parents were also a monster theirself.

"AAUURGGHHHHH!!!"

Obanai covered his eyes from the sudden pain that was rushing through his eye.

"Obanai! What happened!"

Fugaku ask extremely worried for his  nephew's sudden scream.

"Uncle!! It hurts!!"

"What hurts?!"

"My eye, it hurts!!!"

Fugaku widen his eyes at the sudden realization, he really hopes that what he was thinking is not true.

"Obanai are your chakra rushing towards your eyes?!"

"Yes! Plenty!"

Fugaku face solemn, "Obanai control your Chakra do not lead it at your eyes."

Obanai nodded still screaming in pain. Nonetheless he still followed his Uncle's instruction.

Moments later Obanai stop screaming in pain as he stared at his Uncle.

Fugaku's face contained a suprise emotion. Obanai was so exhausted from feeling the pain earlier to the point where he passed out.

However in Fugaku's point of view  Obanai had awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan.

Yawned.

Aughh. It never explained the anime that unclocking chakra was this troublesomely tired and painful.

I mean I get that forcing the chakra to unlock my tenketsu is understanding after seeing Naruto the main protagonist of this world, was hit by Neji's Gentle Fist.

But why are my eyes feeling such pain?!

"You're awake."

I turned around to see whose voice it was, it was just Uncle.

"What happened?"

"Eat the Onigiri first."

I stared at the Onigiri in front of me before eating it.

"Can you explain it now."

I said impatiently, I don't know about what happened but I'm sure it I interesting.

"You've awakened your Mangekyo Sharingan."

"Oh really then tha- what?!"

I thought I heard it wrong Mangekyo Sharingan. But how?!

But first I should pretend not to know what a Mangekyo Sharingan is, it would be too suspicious that a three years old boy know such high class information.

"What's a Mangekyo Sharingan?"

I pretend to ask.

Uncle's face turn serious as he stared at me.

"Listen Obanai what I'm about to say to you. You must never share it to anybody. Understand." Uncle said in a firm tone as I nod.

"...Sharingan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan...

"... The sharingan has many special powers and abilities, just like the Byakugan, which is used by the Hyuga clan..."

"... The sharingan allows the user to understand the attack of his or her opponent almost before they know what attacks are being used...

"... Also the sharingan is used to see the flow of chakra within another person, but to a lesser extent...

"... Second, when this technique is first activated, there is a different number of a tomoe around the pupil of the eye. If its used extensively for a longer amount of time, then the sharingan evolves and a new tomoe is added..."

"... The maximum number of tomoes that a sharingan wielder can have is three, and once the user has all three tomoes, he would then be able to predict movement from any opponent even though he isn't at the same pace as the opponent is."

Uncle is explaining the basics of the Sharingan. I should ask some stupid questions.

"Uncle What's a tomoe?"

I expect Fugaku to be a bit disappointed from my lack of knowledge.

However his response was something unexpected,

"... The tomoe is the swirl that represents commas or usual forms of magatama in the eyes..."

"... In this case the tomoe is developed in our eyes and when the sharingan is activated, the swirls in our eyes will begin forming..."

"... The maximum number of tomoes that we Uchiha clan members can have is three as I have said earlier...

"... The only advanced sharingan technique that is available is the Mangekyo Sharingan, which will only be gained by the loss of someone close to you at your own hands."

Damn! In the past I never really have any feelings for the Uchiha Clan's curse nor what happened to them.

But now that hearing it in person from my Uncle, it sounds so painful.

But, there's one thing that doesn't add up. As I've said, in the past I never unlock my chakra father has only been training me physically and passing his knowledge about his own hidden jutsu.

The question is:

"How come I awakened my Sharingan, on top of all that a Mangekyo Sharingan when I unlocked my Chakra just now?"

Fugaku look at me suprise filled his face, 'Obanai inherited Shikaharu's smartness.'

"Obanai when did you start to feel pain in your eyes?"

Obanai stop eating, dropping his head down as he replied in a sad tone.

"Yesterday morning, when I killed father."

"Obanai, I know that the reason your father attacked you wasn't because he wanted you to blame yourself, but because he want you to awaken your Mangekyo sharingan to protect yourself..."

Obanai didn't respond to his statement.

"Anyways, when you stared feeling pain in your eyes you have probably awakened the Mangekyo without your knowledge. You did awaken the Mangekyo, it was just waiting for your chakra to unlock all in its own or you unlocking your own chakra..."

"Now getting back to my point, the  Sharingan is capable of a hypnosis attack..."

"... All of this is done through simple eye contact. Also when the Sharingan is used in conjunction with other aspects of the sharingan, the user is able to perfectly mimic every single move the opponent makes before they have a chance to make theirs..."

"... Keep in mind that more advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability up to a hire level to trick and trap opponents in an illusion and the potency of the sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill while implementing genjutsu..."

"... That's about all the information there is on the basics of the sharingan, do you understand now what I have gone over with you, Obanai?" asked Fugaku.

Obanai stared at his Uncle for a moment as he nodded.

"Don't reveal it to anyone that you have awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan. If somebody found out about your newly awakened eyes then I can't imagine what they'll do to you."

Even though Uncle said it in a calm tone, just from hearing his sentence this guy deeply care about me.

"Uncle, I change my mind, I'll sleep at your house."

"Why?" Fugaku was confuse why did he suddenly change his mind.

"No reason."

It was a lie, there's no way Obanai would sleep in his father's old home all by himself. The enemies who attack his father might investigate in his old home.
